Been searching through Google for a solution but to no avail :-( hoping that you guys have any ideas on how to fix it.... My mp-04 has a loose waist compared when I first bought it where it had a clicking sound, now it's just loose

Seems like either the plastic spike that pushes into the ratchet grooves has broken/worn away, or the spring has lost it's power. If there's no click at all it's probably the former.

You'd need to take him apart and replace/repair that part.

Found out that the screws were worn out at the waist. Any idea of where I can get a replacement for it. Btw.thanks for the quick reply and help :)

So you need replacement screws? Wow, good luck with that, it could take some time. You'd need to try DIY/hardware stores and take a sample of the screws with you. Ebay would also be a good place, you might need to buy a bag of mixed screws. It's going to be tough to find the right size but they must be out there.

Having said that, it's probably more likely than if you had to fix the part I mentioned before.

Assuming they are they same build, you could buy a cheap scrap copy of the US MP-01 and just cannibalize it's parts for your MP-04. Should be pretty easy, as eBay always seems to have them going for cheap. I've seen them for about $20-25, or so for one that's usually missing just about everything, except the waist assembly and the screws you need.

I have a better solution... instead of fixing the has been old mp prime and get the awesomeness that is MP-10. by the way, the screws you speak of being stripped out will result in the need for a slight thicker screw. good luck or get mp-10 and thank me later.

Its old but it's gold haha. Thanks for the tip! Fixed the joint but there's still no clicking sound at the waist though... But oh well. And yeah I got the mp-10 mold which is the platinum edition opt. Prime and I'm loving it! Thanks for the replies and help guys! ;)
