Our friend and former Takara Tomy designer Alexander Kubalsky dropped by to let us know he's created a new Facebook page to share his Transformers design artwork with the fan community. His work includes many figures from the Classics, 2007 Movie, and Animated lines plus the Chevy exclusive Aveo Swerve. He will be updating with art, test shots, and other design related items from time to time. Holy those sketches are awesome!

Classics Mirage, early Animated toys, and 2 of the Bayniverse designs I actually like were all sketched out by the same guy? I guess that shouldn't be surprising. I actually like the Mirage sketch's stockier proportions better than the final toy's, awesome though it is.

So he didn't start until after the Unicron Trilogy, but he's no longer doing TFs? Not sure if he suffered burnout too soon or I should just feel old.

Now maybe I can finally know if he had Beast Box in mind when he designed that Real Gear game controller.

This is all very cool.

I have the aforementioned Chevy Aveo Swerve toy, and he's a fun neat little figure for something so simple.

Really happy to see these flicks; always good to see some of the inner workings/ creativity that goes into our figs.

Awesome, those are some pretty great designs. I wonder what other ones he came up with!

Man, for the work he did on the animated and classic toys, and what I consider a few my favorite movie figures, it makes me wonder what the movie line what have been like if he stuck around. Aveo Swerve is one of my favorite deluxes of all time and it was a great fusion of classic and movie aesthetics.
