I just got the remold of MP Thundercracker and was rather surprised to discover that the instructions are those of the original mold. Some less-educated-in-TF-toy-history people might be totally confused by the lack of face swap (which is still claimed on the box) and the other transformation differences. Well done Hasbro.
(Note: I don't need help transforming him)

Yeah, he was my first Masterpiece, so I had no experience with either mold. I was very confused.

Fans Project have the worst instructions in this hobby, every time i've ended up with next to no help from them and eventually transformed it myself without foaming at the mouth in anger

Yea I've heard and only looked at the instructions to confirm the complaints.
It baffles me how people notice stuff like that though, I never use the instructions.

I figure out the transformation myself and check them through later to see if I missed anything. I noticed there was something amiss because the instructions fell out of the box and I saw the picture had the hip kibble.

I gather the instruction makers for many of the MPs were just downright lazy in one way or another. Soundwave's instructions detail how to transform each of the individual bots and nothing else. Not a damn thing about the accessories or gimmicks at all.

With MPs it's generally a good idea to read the instructions to make sure you don't risk breaking something that expensive by bending it the wrong way.

Which is true only for Megatron, Rodimus doesn't count since he's basically designed to be a steaming pile of broken ****.
And the only reason I used the instructions on Megatron in the first place was because he was my very first Japanese import and the most expensive toy I had bought up to that point. All the other MPs I've found to be self-explanatory, just like the mainline toys.

Dead Metal, you and I have a level of genius that these people can't comprehend.
I didn't use the instructions for MP Megatron and everything went just fine.

I quite like following the instructions with new figures, and go slowly slowly step by step.
Mind you, mostly for Voyager and up, the rest are too intuitive for them to help at all.
I don't need them, I just like to have them there.
