Beast hunters as pre-beast wars

I'm not sure if this has been brought up but a lot of the beast hunters toys would make perfect pre or post beast wars figures.

Beast hunters starscream - Terrorsaur
Beast hunters Ratchet - Dinobot 2 (Obvious)
Beast hunters dreadwing - Silverbolt
Beast hunters Bulk Head - Optimus primal
Beast hunters Arcee - Airrazor
Beat hunters shockwave - Inferno
And I'm sure there could be others, with the upcoming Arcee and Megatron re-paints from the club do you think these will be on their list?

well your comparison is nice, but beast hunters has nothing to do with beast wars, before or after... beast wars is directly tied to the g1 cartoons... beast hunters has no place in that fiction.

I think Beast Hunters bulk head is Rhinox no?

I don't think he means there are any fiction ties at all just maybe what you can use these pointless toys for if you're a beast wars fan. =X

I'm disappointed this one never happened. The whole line was a missed opportunity for BW repaints, but Terrorsaur out of Starscream would've been perfection.

With retconning, anything is possible. Just make up some story about a massive Energon explosion tearing a hole in the space-time continuum and creating a wormhole that brings together TFs from different timelines or parallel universes.

I understood this. Check out the website Cheets Tweaks, the guy has repainted a few recent BH bots into BW characters.

Terrorsaur makes a great figure out of Starscream:

2016 is 20th Anniversary for Beast Wars. Maybe we've got a BotCon theme here.

Thanks to the new TCC fiction for this year, this toy is now a canonical Cybertronian form for Dinobot:

And I own it!

You'll have to ask Cheetimus Primal to make another, since this is a hand-painted custom made by him (which I bought from him last BotCon). So it's currently a one- or two-of-a-kind thing right now (as mine doesn't have the stripes seen here).

Well, guys, it looks like this idea is becoming a reality. In comic form, at least.

The latest issue of the TCC magazine, #55, contains a comic story set in the yet-to-be-named alternate Beast Wars universe of Primax 209.0 Gamma, in which we see several Maximals using Prime Beast Hunters toy bodies (as well as other non-BH toy bodies):

  • Botanica - Prime Beast Hunters Deluxe Soundwave (new head) w/ Laserbeak instead of Ravage
  • Jawbreaker - Prime Beast Hunters Deluxe Ratchet
  • Trans-Mutate - Prime First Edition Deluxe Arcee (which we know is coming as a real toy)
  • Geckobot - Prime Beast Hunters Deluxe Wheeljack w/ Prime Dead End's head
  • Rattrap - Prime Robots in Disguise Rumble (new head)
Also, this non-Maximal also appeared:

  • Rampage - Prime First Edition Deluxe Megatron (which we know is getting a real toy w/ a new head)
Other characters appeared in non-Prime bodies as well:

  • Torca - Universe Voyager Onslaught w/ BotCon Clench's head
  • Dynobot - Generations Thrilling 30 Voyager Springer w/ its head slightly modified to remove the central head fin

I would get pretty much all of these, especially Botanica who has never had a toy.

Edited my post to note who all had new heads and who had alternate heads from the same molds.

Also of note is that this is the world that TCC Depth Charge originated from.

That's it, alright! That's the yet-to-be-named alternate Beast Wars universe that the Club has been teasing since 2009 in TransTech Blackarachnia's bio! :D

But, don't forget Dynobot:
