CM's Corp is teasing their next Transformers release, and it appears to be Transformers Victory villain Deathsaurus! Check out the image from Wonderfest mirrored below courtesy of
2Chan. As usual with their teaser announcements it's just a silhouette for the moment. As pictured are their upcoming Spike and Daniel Excel Suit figures.
Update: The Autobase Aichi Facebook page has posted a clearer image of the teaser silhouette on the CM's Corp table at Wonderfest. It appears this won't be Deathsaurus afterall, but a character called
Acrobunch. Check out the new image below.

Hmmmm...well, since the Exo...um...cell suit transforms, there's a chance this new Deszy will too, yes?
No? Right. Of course not.
When I saw the thumbnail, I failed to remember what CM Corp was, and briefly thought 3rd Party stuff had been front-paged again to show off an unlicensed cash-in on MP Star Saber. That was a fun 5 seconds.
Sorry, just bitter cuz' he's the one big Victory toy I still don't own yet, since my dealer connection failed me. I'm sure this will be cool for whatever it is, but I can't get excited over a Death Tzar without transformation or any bosom buddies, no matter how show-accurate he is. Almost, but not quite. Maybe upon the actual reveal.

So I wonder how well he'll scale with Masterpiece Star Saber? Not well, I assume.

From what I can see, Acrobunch has a similar body shape to
Deszaras, it's uncanny. Even the chest matches to a degree!

And compare it to the original G1 toy:

True, they really do look alike in silhouette LOL
The only obvious difference would be Acrobunch's long sleeve, and he doesnt have a shield...
Deszaras always has his shield on the left, even when he goes to bathroom.

At first when I heard this I thought that "Acrobunch" might be one of those Transformers designs that were modified into Brave characters. I checked though and this isn't Red Geist. So does anyone know what this is?

Hey... you guys hear that?
That's the sound of disappointment and ignorance toward brands outside Transformers, Halo, and Assassin's Creed.

It's funny, when I saw this I checked out the link about where the character comes from, the show sounds interesting. The American version of the vintage toy is fairly cheap too for what it is.

Holy scrap, I had one of those when I was a kid and never knew what it was till just now. I always just assumed it was a cheap knockoff of Transformers. It was actually pretty cool since it had 2 cars, 2 motorcycles and a jet. It paired off pretty nicely against the vintage Voltron toy too.

According to the Wiki page this was one of the first shows to feature the 5 robot combining gimmick and was influential on Go-Lion among others.

That is actually really cool to know! I always liked the Pentabot toy as a kid, but I never knew it was from any show until this thread popped up. Now I know its true origins and knowing is half the battle

I'm not convinced the original image of the silhouette next to the rest of their TF liscenced stuff wasn't intentionally made to troll
