News continues to trickle in from Wonderfest! Just this morning we posted final product images from Prime 1 Studios of their MMTFM-02 Dark of the Moon Optimus Prime, and now we have images of their next upcoming movie universe statue, Bumblebee. Not just a teaser, they're showing off a full prototype. Their first offering was a very impressive, though cost prohibitive, Revenge of the Fallen Megatron.

bumblebee is the best option for them.. these are highly detailed, very expensive collectibles.. they need to choose a very recognizable character from the movies.. which bumblebee is.

this isn't just another little $15 deluxe bumblebee toy.. it's a shame you can't appreciate how incredible this thing looks.

i'm as sick of bumblebee toys as the next person.. but this doesn't fall into that category.

more people are going to pick up a bumblebee statue than the would a movie ratchet statue.

Quite frankly, you don't think that a Jazz, Ironhide, Optimus Prime, Barricade or Soundwave DOTM wouldn't be a better choice? seriously, it would give the fans NEW characters to appreciate.

I do recon that the art is highly detailed and amazing, but I strongly feel that all that amazingness should be used for new, different characters.

The Bumblebee character is the one designed to appeal to the youngest members of the audience. Bumblebee's biggest fans are in kindergarten.
