My Skids has a bigger problem than a reversed butt thigh

The Podcast said "Turn his hip pice around." The part that connects to the balljoint peg. So I thought I'd fix it...

So it turns out the ball joint is tighter than the plastic that connects to his hip, the entire plastic ball and shaft broke off flush with his leg and is STILL lodged into the leg itself...

So now what? Is this fixable? Or did I just ruin a toy I've not seen in stores before or since I bought this?

Call Hasbro and ask for a replacement, they were going to do mine just for the issue.

Unfortunately, it's ruined. Outside of drilling a hole in the post and setting a pin and then gluing the whole thing together, you'll need a replacement figure.

Seibertron, himself, had the same issue. And more and more reports are popping up about it. More good news reports than bad, though, generally.

This rarely, if ever, works. Hasbro will either say they can't fix it or they'll send you a figure of the same size class in the assortment. Rarely do you ever receive the figure in question. In fact, in the past, people have received the wrong size class (I.E. smaller) from what they had returned.

Honestly, the best bet is eBay or an online retailer that might have it in stock.

I think the best you could hope for from Hasbro would be them sending you "a product of equal value", like a Deluxe Bumblebee.
