Good lord that Recon Barricade looks horrible! Making him like that takes away everything cool about the character.

I like barricaed, frenzy's kinda ugly

Hey look, It's rumble!!!

A new head ans some paint, what do you get? Prowl! The paint suck but Frenzy look neat. Or is it rumble? Rumble is blue Frenzy is red!

anybody else think that High Score's robot mode resembles those bastard little Decepticlones in the Armada game that shoot some kinda minicon disabling blast at you?

Barricade looks good but frenzy (rumble) looks like crap. High score is kick ass but that tech one is stupid.

He's going to be my first ever kit-bash. I want a cool Prowl, and I can't wait for one to come out (if it ever does), so I will make my own.

I never liked the repaints that were not new characters. Painting a character black and calling him "Night" or "Stealth" (like they regularly do with superhero figures) is not an acceptable repaint to me. I'd much rather they slap on a new head and make him a different character. That to me is a better excuse for reusing a mold. For me, repaints that aren't a retooling have one useful purpose: It gives a kitbasher like me the opportunity to get a mold again that is currently OOP.

As for High Score: Does anyone else think that figure looks like a gorilla?

The new version of Barricade isnt too thrilling for me.
High Score 100 does, indeed, looks like a gorilla.. a bad ass looking gorilla..
The TECH camera.. no thanks.

Barricade: Yeah, the rear window being solid black in the official movie toy was ok, because the window just looked tinted. But leaving the back window solid gray absolutely sucks. Maybe if the front and side windows were still clear plastic, but heavily tinted, and the back window painted black, then MAYBE it would look ok. Of course, the gray of the body just looks unpainted, not painted gray, so I still don't know. Ah well, just more money I DON'T have to spend. :p

I must be the only one who likes Recon Barricade. I love him, can't wait to get him.

I like him too, but I thought his paint job would be of a state trooper. He's a rent a cop now

He reminds me strongly of Apeface, in terms of his coloring and poses...




Swap some colors around, slap a 'Con logo over the 'Bot one on his crotch (WHY do you put insignias in crotches, Hasbro?), and you'd have a decent mini-Apeface.

Alternately, you can call him Beastbox...

Not realy a fan of Barricade. He was cool in the movie, but the toy sucks.

I know down the line he will be sought after, so I intend on getting a few more to leave sealed as investments.

As for the repaints, well the TRU green tag sale is only a few monts away, maybe then I'll get this and Cybertron Monkey Prime, SmokeScreen, and Dino Megs.

However, I doubt it.
