That actually looks worse than I thought it would.
The slim chance that I would have bought one is now gone.

Must try harder to hide planet shell. I know its difficult but still. Overall, 7 out of 10.

I really don't know about this one. The concept is somewhat appealing even for me, a guy who doesn't like Star Wars at all. But the Death Star surface seems so bland and boring...

You're rating the figure on just pictures? I mean I understand people saying it's cool or it sucks, but rating the figure before it's even out is getting a little ahead of yourself. Who knows it may feature real death star shooting laser action, that warrants a 10/10 when you can kill your neighbors cat from your toy room.
Seriously though, I think it'll be on clearance just like the falcon was.

Not bad not bad at all. But it has a "try me" thing. I hate those.

If the thing is 360 degrees round, I will buy it seeing that the legs can be folded in and give the access of using the Death Star as a bowling bowl.

That looks terrible. Could the robot mode look any more 1980s? Horrible concept. Wrong charecter. Terrible exicution. Screw that.

Not all that impressed really. Might have a change of heart when/if I see him in on the shelf.

He looks o.k. Although he really should have been the Emperor, or maybe even Admiral Motti.
In any case he looks intriguing although for a ball that size, he really can afford to have quite a bit more detail in Deathstar Mode. It looks too bland.
Anyway, he looks to be fairly interesting. If he goes on clearance like the Millennium Falcon, then I'll probably pick it up.

In my opinion, possibly one of the best figures out there. Hands down within the Star Wars line of TF.
I mean, I see people saying "Need to hide planet shell better" Hello, does anyone here own Unicron or Primus? It'll make a great stand up with them. Plus it'll answer your questions - Unicron vs. Death Star LOL

I would have said Governor Tarkin..
Hey, isn't this thing coming with a cape? I thought it had one in earlier pictures to help hide the outer shell...

WHY!?!
If you are just gonna have it in Deathstar mode, buy a bloody model of a Deathstar. It'll be a damnslight cheaper, and it'll look nicer. Also, why bother preordering such an utterly unexciting design. He'll be clogging up shelves in all good toy stores for months. I know the Falcon is.

I admit, this one got me to burst out laughing.
I'm still interested in buying it, though I think it should've been the Emperor and not Vader.

This is still happening!?! I thought it was scrapped along with the 6 inch Titaniums.
I am intrested in a clearance DeathStar, but if Hasbro is looking to tighten the belt, maybe they should 86 these and stick with the lines that work?
Also, planets be ware or else that green little rocket may fall a few inches away from you!

That was the Alternator series. Remember, these are geared toward the biggest geeks of all: Star Wars collectors. THey outnumber us currently and remain a viable option for commercial marketing. I have to say though, if they were going to make a SWTF that big, they least they could do was give him fingers like Unicron and Primus.

Death Star mode looks bland. Robot mode looks good. Though why is the box twice as big as needs be? I'm just waiting for someone to kitbash it into a fully round Unicron.
