Anyone else notice the figure?

It looks like those circles and the ones on the shoulders are a nod to the wheels on the arms of the G1 toy and the triangle represents the hubcaps.

On the topic of MPs... looks like you're selling all of yours. But why? :-(

When my roommate moved out I had to sell off a lot of stuff to stay afloat at first. What's the point of having awesome stuff if you don't have a place to keep it? That stuff is long gone and I just haven't gotten around to updating it. The Autobots have been replaced (KO MP-10 with the real thing and Prowl and Blustreak with KOs) but my Decepticons are gone.

Okay, but no more.
The model is made not in the Masterpiece categories.
Holes in his hands, which could easily be removed,.
Of course like that-be had glass eyes, but that's nitpicking.
Line on alt-mode, but it is also a niggle.
In general, the model is good, but no more.

For those who have the right to bellyache, well I am exercising my right to heckle. Just got the time to open up BB (retail not Amazon jp version). Nope! Especially those sitting the fence........get BB! He is one of the best engineered MPs. Tomy nicely implemented the mass shifting technology to a whole new level. Sure, he may be small and in scale with the other other 'bots.....his 'bot mode is sooooooooo awesome!

Yup, he is. the Wheeljack and Sideswipe mold pale in comparison to this. I love this little guy. The holes in his forearms are annoying, but sadly there is no way they could have been avoided. Seriously, looking at pics does not do this thing justice. The flaws we see, aren't that bad in hand, and once you do have it in hand you'll notice how there was just no way they could have been avoided.
The only thing that I can knock it for is the yellow paint not matching the plastic colour.

Seriously, I'm super impressed with this figure, the spare tire thing even has storage space for the number plate you have to remove in order to get it onto his back/ boot.

The feet are super, and the way the torso transforms! :D

He's got a hip swivel(take that Uncle Magnus  , I'm getting him too). If any, I'll complain about, his color is orange and doesn't recreate the G1 minibot original  .....waitaminute, we have the same nitpicking poinnts. ;)

WJ and the other guys have it good because of their scale, it gave the designers leeway but the smaller body build of BB, that must have been a doozy!. and, I have this thing for German cars, they have this certain "touch" just like the Italian ones.

If this is the case, I sure can't wait for a potential retool to CJ!

mine arrived yesterday.... and he is every bit a "masterpiece". pretty much all complaints i read about (and partially shared) all went out the window once he was in hand. the soft face sculpt, the size, the backpack, ect. none of those things are bothering me now.

BB is such a solid, compact little piece of robot that is incredibly satisfying. his transformation is befitting of the MP line, with everything folding up so nice and tightly that makes for a glorious bot mode. the face sculpt i agreed looked odd in pics, but in person it looks great! very fitting. the backpack, id barely label as such. and his size (in bot mode) is perfectly to scale with the current MP's.

and the exo suit, ive also got to say im quite impressed with. sure it has some posing limitations and annoying elbow ball joints, but he's far more intricate than i expected to be.

my ONLY complaints are the chest symbol (whyd it have to be all flippy?) and theres almost no forward tilt in the feet. all that said, BB and exo are a 9.9 outa 10. he might be my favorite MP.

the only other major complaint was price. i got mine (with coin and amazon face) for 80 shipped. not only would i be willing to pay more (knowing how great it is now), but im thinking of getting a second one just to utilize the amazon face.

have you bought your MP BB yet? go buy one!

I got mine a couple of weeks ago, and I am satisfied with it. I understand they're trying to keep everything in scale for this line, but he could have been a little bigger. Otherwise, I have no complaints with Bee himself. Exo-Suit, on the other hand, I couldn't care less about, so he has found a new home since. Bee, combined with how good Magnus looks, is inspiring me to collect the MPs representing the characters from the 1986 animated movie, not including humans.

Great News for all our ausie fans! A fellow Seibertronian, Connor, has just spotted Takara Tomy Masterpiece MP-21 Bumblebee at Toysrus at Mt Gravatt, Queensland, Australia. He sells for 99.99$ Australian dollars (about 80$ US).

We have a high definition gallery of MP Bumblebee as well as one for the exo suit Daniel figure it comes with, for those curious about the figure.

I wonder if they show up in US Toys'r'Us stores. I doubt that. I personally never seen Takara's masterpieces in US T'r'U! At least here in Florida.

Uh...I'm sorry?

In my instructions there's a Headmasters still of Spike - not Daniel - wearing the exo-suit in vehicular mode. I just started posting here, so this might be a thing. I was just legitimately confused.

I think the conclusion of that argument is that the figure included is definitely Daniel, unless it's definitely Spike. :D

In any event, I find it interesting Australian TRU stores get Takara Tomy product...and that its priced so...flexibly.

As far as the MP-21 figure is concerned, I love it. Almost as much as my MP-17 and incoming (grr..still hasn't arrived yet) MP-22.

What's flexible about the price? That's showing the exchange rate of USD to Australian. I also think it's cool to see on a Toys R Us shelf, but even if he were released here, no one would ever see him. Damn scalpers

Alas, the United States is outside of TakaraTomy's distribution jurisdiction.

That is Daniel in that Headmasters still.

It's from the episode 33, "Duel on the Asteroid", in which Daniel pilots the Exosuit to reach said asteroid to try to stop the fight between Chromedome and Sixshot.

Yeah, I guess I was thinking 99 US, where it would be 80 here. By flexibility I mean high. But, it's not. To Americans. Well, not more than they've been charging, anyway. 99 bucks is probably a lot in Australian dollars, though.

It's daniel in Spike's suit. People said it was Daniel and other said it was the Spike exosuit. Both statements dont have to be mutually exclusive.
