Fall of cybertron seeker mold.

I am a huge seeker fan. Starscream is among my favorite characters.
Because of that, I am very critical of the figure molds for seekers. I love the modernized classics seekers figures, cone heads included. I havnt cared for a single seeker mold other than the classics until now.
I gotta admit I love the F.O.C. Mold. Is everyone else a fan of these things? I thing they did a bang up job on them and Im very happy that they are among the only figures in th F.O.C. line, if not THE ONLY figures in the line that have retained the deluxe size proper.
They go great with the new sound wave, megs ans shockwave, even if ole shocker got the trimmed down treatment. They just look awesome!
So Im wondering two things.
1. Do you think we may get retooled cone head figures in ram jet, dirge and thrust?

2. Is it too much to hope for a voyager starscream like they did soundwave?

I cannot remember seeing a G-1 ish voyager screamer ever being made. They did the T.F. Prime version but....BLEAGH!
If they will make a soundwave then It cannot be too much to ask for the decepticon second in command to be molded in voyager size right? Im pretty sure he is a popular enough figure and if not as popular with kids as with us,then certainly neat looking enough to merit a voyager figure and so I suppose I have a few more questions for you guys.

1. Would you guys purchase such a figure should it be a proper voyager size and the quality of the voyager F.O.C. Soundwave?

2.Would you purchase retooled coneheads, or ...GULP....NEW molds F.O.C. cone heads should they retain the quality of the recently released F.O.C. seekers?

Perhaps if produce positive responses here hasbro will see and answer the call?
:D

Well if they look cool sure, and over time HasTak eventually will redo them again and again given enough time. I'd like to see some actual figures done first that have not seen a good redo lately since we have had the three coneheads done within the last few years.

I can't really speak to point 1, but I can say with a near certainty that I don't think we'll ever see a Voyager Seeker mold.

This isn't said out of disdain for the characters; indeed I would love one too. However it seems that with the Generations line, for every 6 new Deluxe toys, we get 2 new Voyager toys. If there's a Voyager seeker mold, that'll take up at a minimum 6 slots in a line which has typically a slower release timeframe on more limited numbers than the Deluxe figures. All the while taking space away from other neat concepts that truly need the Voyager scale to be done right.

I think that a true Voyager sized seeker mold will come from 3rd parties. There's iGear's that are going to come out, but I personally don't think they're worth the cost

I love these too. In fact I'm debating retiring my Titanium War Within seekers. I hope they make more like the coneheads (which I don't think would be hard to do) and Sunstorm. With the Takara Skywarp, I have all four make so far.
As for the Voyager size proposal, I'd pass because the current modes fit in better scale wise with the Classics seekers. But I do wish they'd make a Voyager Megatron.

Thats kind of what got me thinking about voyager seekers though. Looking at them standing next to my voyager megs they look too small.
Well, that is if your point of refferance is the cartoon as is mine. They dont really look bad, but I wish they were closer to size with megs.
Ofcourse, they look amazing next to the F.O.C. Megs. I suppose I just cant see why the deceptacons # 2 guy cant get a voyager class classics style figure.
As for needing a voyager megs, Im sure you have seen the classics voyager megs yes? I was looking on you tube the other day and came across that hedgemon 3rd party megs figure and he is the same size as the classics voyager megs. Hedgemon makes my voyager classics megs look awefull LOL. Really, I.M.O. That hedgemon trumps even the masterpiece megs and is voyager sized so he goes great with your regular figures.
Alas, there is the price tag/availability issue..... :(

Except for owning the Takara Skywarp, I will echo everything in this post. I've really come to appreciate this mold that I at first bought out of Starscream fan obligation. I got TC because I knew they were going to complete the trio, but Skywarp is the one that sold me on the mold. It's pretty posable and the jet mode is Cybertronian-y in the good way, which for me personally is not the movieverse, robot-folds-up-into-lump = vehicle-mode-from-alien-planet-lol.

I do not think that this particular mold would look good as a Voyager toy. I think if you make this bigger, it's only going to accentuate the weaknesses of both molds, like the thin arms and the gappy jet mode.

I do know that I would really love some Voyager Seekers though.
