Our friends at Calibre Toys have sent over the 2014 Transformers: Age of Extinction product catalog. Officially licensed movie items include:

Interesting. One of the stickers has "Me Grimlock" on it. Perhaps an indication of how grimlock will sound in the movie.

Our friends at Calibre Toys dropped by to let us know they have updated their Transformers: Age of Extinction product page with voice clips from their talking Optimus Prime and Bumblebee coin banks. Could this be an indication that Bumblebee will finally have his voice fully restored in the upcoming film?

So can Bumblebee finally talk now, like he got his voice back in Prime? Can we be over his whole 'beep-boop' bullcrap now?

Hopefully, Bumblebee actually talks in AOE. I liked that he didn't in the first 3, but it's stale and this is a whole new beginning... kind of.

If Bee talks in the movie, part of me wants it to be Mark Ryan again for the sake of consistency and continuity, while part of me wants to to be a voice like Will Friedle's Bumblebee since it would sound better than Mark Ryan's not-so-young-sounding Bee voice.

Though, I'd also like an explanation for his speaking rather than him just be speaking from the get-go as if he always could.

Movie Bumblebee is too veteran of a warrior to sound good with a young voice. Will Friedle made BB sound way too young to the point where if it weren't for his actions in the show, you'd think he's a newbie. I think movie BB would need a voice that would easily put him in his mid 30s if he were human. Still young, but with enough depth to his voice to help convey the message that he is highly educated in the art of war and an expert combatant. Just my opinion.

I doubt it. It's a Transformers live action movie. I don't think that the characters are going to change that much besides having new looks and vehicle modes.

i think it should be Dan Gilvezan for Bumblebees voice
i mean come on we have had other G1 voice actors in the movies
why not bumblebee's too

Yeah, and it's only the two big ones that anyone ever seems to give two cents about using. Everyone else is unimportant by comparison in the eyes of the moneymakers.

wow dude you need to lay off the "i know everything and you dont" trip, i was just saying who i thought they could use as a voice for bumblebee even though it would be unlikely but instead you go off on how they only care about 2 certain ones, i don't really care, i don't really care how much you know infact your so called knowledge of Transformers is just a bunch of useless facts in the real world and having to see your condescending comments on anyones post is insulting to say the least! this is a forum meant to be fun where you can post comments and ideas so others can listen this is not a place to be insulted at or prove your self worth

I'm just saying that Cullen and Welker are put in a league of their own when it comes to G1 voice actors since all the others seem to get sidelined and overlooked all the time. Sure, it'd be interesting to get someone in addition to those two, but when those two are the only examples, it's essentially the same as having no G1 voice actors since those two seemed to have transcended that status.

Then again, imagine if they hadn't gotten Cullen and Welker. Fanrage abound.
