the KO discussion and diaclone MP ideas have gotten me thinking lately. would you buy more variants of MP10? i think they would sell, especially seeing how something with no basis like the YOTH is selling. (nothing against it, i own and love it, but it came out of nowhere)

i have some ideas for more variants. some may be flimsy and a bit of a stretch, but im just trying to cover all bases. and if theres any other ideas throw em out there!

G2- generally be the same. but he could have yellow eyes (which we havent seen yet), black trailer, those big additional guns he had, and that big sound dealy for the frint of his trailer. he could also have a more G2 comic feel if they threw in some more weapons and gave him a battle damage paint job ala hasbros MP01.


return of OP white- lame i know... but it was a cannon variation. i guess he'd just be solid white. maybe with some green "matrix glow" effects? the paint effects i picture in my head look nice...


dead grey- they did one of these for MP01 as i recall. sleeping convoy? id buy it if he came with a little bed to lie on. tears not included.


and once MP magnus is released....

diaclone powered convoy- i can see this being done. easily. takara loves repaints and people love diaclone!


matrix glow ultra magnus- more of a stretch. but it wouldnt be the first clear plastic'd MP.

wouldn't the matrix glow effects be blue, since...y'know, it's blue?

anyway, I'd probably see most likelihood of a G2 version of Prime, and then Diaclone Magnus.

the more i described my version of G2 prime, the more i wanted it

and yeah... not only does the yellow matrix glow not make sense, but magnus never even used it...

and the matrix glow is blue, but its destructive effects are green, which i think is the basis for the clear ehobby rodimus and lucky draw unicron.

I quite like the look of translucent plastic toys, but it's not often my preferred version of a character. the yellow Shining Magnus deco makes no sense at all, Matrix or not, but it is memorable and I could see maybe an exclusive using it if T/T are looking to charge ridiculous money for something.

Matrix Glow Magnus is one of my all time favorites. Would love to see it as a MP figure.

It's a cool idea, but I don't buy many MPs, so the only MP OP I would want would be the G1 version. But if I could afford a whole collection of MPs? Yeah, sure, variants would be cool!

Why not? They did MP Tigertrack, after all.
