If you’ve ever been in the business of selling items from your Transformers collection, chances are it was for a good reason. When action such as that is properly justified, it can be lived with and we move on, waiting for a point in the future where any regrettable sales can be undone. I know personally I have sold to raise money for other purchases, because of shifting interests and because sometimes I had to. This week I look at some of the figures that, given the financial comfort and opportunity, I would like to buy back.

One of the biggest purges was my Movie Trilogy collection, and I never really looked back on it. If I want to get back into collecting it, I'd probably start at the Human Alliance class and go from there.

I'd say I definitely miss ROTF Leader Optimus Prime and the lovely 2007 Takara bikes.



I also had to get rid of Bludgeon with the HR upgrades. Regretable, but alas, it just didn't really fit anywhere in my collection.

I never sold off my stuff, but I wish I still had all of my TF's from growing up. I have managed to get most of the ones I had, but not all of them.

You sold Shining Magnus? Damn man, your article on it is the sole reason I got inspired to buy one. Hope you can track it down again some day.

My buy-back regret: Botcon 2006 box set. Sold it in late 2008 for barely over $300. Ouch.

Buyers regret/sellers remorse is probably the worse part of the fandom.
