So, we're not getting a BB with battle mask?

"I'll drive, you shoot" just won't be the same without it. We'll-repaint-anyone-twice three-times if they buy-it Hasbro seems like they would jump at the chance to do a minor retool and some battle damage for a Final Battle Bumblebee.

I think a retractable battle mask would be a cool gimmick, bit hard to pull off though. Still, an 08 BB retool with a battlemask would be awesome!

Seems like a no brainer. Hey, at least if they do make one it'll be easy to find. We seem to be the only ones that would want it!

I know it's not the same, but the little RC bumblebee from Radio Shack has his battle mask. TOo bad that version isn't armed.
Anyone find it odd that Bumblebee's the only one with a battle mask in the movie after we see everyone with two heads in the design concepts?

Here's what I'm thinking. A "I Drive, You Shoot" 2-Pack, featuring Movie-accurate Longarm (MIKE's Towing instead of ORSON's Towing, or whatever the toy says) and Bumblebee with Battle Mask. I'm assuming his legs can be removed easily for optimum movie-faithfulness.

His battle mask is really awesome, a shame we won't see it in toy form.

A battlemask BB should be too hard for Hasbro to make. After all, the first few waves of BW toys had them.

Yes, but those sucked and often got in the way of head articulation.
A figure with remoulded head, one with the Battle Mask that isn't removeable would probably be easier to do.

But heres the thing about Final Battle BB, Imagine a kid buys it and transforms it and "Where is his legs mom?"

would be fun to kit bash, I'll have to see when I can get my hands on the tow truck and and the new bumblebee, I am surprised we don't have a deluxe sized head of the battle mask, shouldn't be hard to make though.

Unfortunately, I don't think there would be a BB with a Battle Mask, though if there was, I'd get it.
It was rather dumb to put battle masks on the Beast Wars figures (Optimus Primal, Takara will avenge you!), & as 1337W422102 mentioned, they sucked. I agree with him on that.

I riped it of my BW Megatron.

True, but I don't think I'd buy the same mold with a different head. Unless it ws a different character.

I don't think it would be that difficult to make it retractible. I mean the mask is the top of BB's head it would only have to slide back on a hinge. It's doable, but you would need an entire new head sculpt.
