Elephaorph/Torca Toy Swap

Interesting story for you guys. I was in Toys R Us and saw what I thought was Elephaorpha in a Skystalker box. The beast hunters deluxe are only 5$ so the oddity alone made me want to take a chance with this.

Turns out, it is of course a Toy Swap and it is not of Elephaorpha. It is of Torca but the legs have been spray painted blue. At least that's what i think happened.

Just making sure, Torca would have a copyright to both Hasbro and Takara inscribed on the toy, right? Or just Hasbro?

What is also weird is that the jerk bothered to add a bruticus claw weapon to make up for the extra space occupied by Skystalker's wings.

This happened in a Montreal Toys R Us

My pictures are too big at the moment but I will post them when I reduce them to the right size.

My goodness... and he replaced the dorsal fin with RiD Bruticus' tail! Using a 15-year-old toy for a swap, do they honestly think the kids won't notice?!

I'd say that one's a win for whoever picks it up. Don't have Torca but he looks a darn sight better than Skystalker (who is, in himself not all that bad)

So do you think its a worthy addition to the wiki article? Does someone on this forum monitor it or do I have to do it myself?

We have a few contributors to the wiki here. I think it's worth mentioning it, because it's the second recorded repainted swap. The fact it's using a BW mold is especially odd, but not unprecedented.
