WOW! Blast from the past or what.
Where was this taken? MB boxed TF's, Red Tracks, and isn't that one of those re-boxed Sunswipes Maz was talking about recently? (in the middle of the second Picture)

This year marks 30 years for me as a Transformer fan.
It's been about 29 years since I saw a store like that.

Judging by the store name on the signs (and a little bit of google fu) looks like The Netherlands.

Yes, Intertoys is a Dutch toy retailer, and the 'fl.' symbol was used for the Dutch guilder (the currency prior to the Euro). Not sure about the first image though.

The Netherlands? And to think JelZe complains about toy distribution LOL. My Woolworths never looked like that, ever!

That's doesn't look like any store I've ever been in. What's all that stuff on the right-hand side of the first picture? I see stacks of books or magazines, some little bins with keys hanging off them, a TV, and other random stuff.

Ah, yes, when it was mostly shelves and boxes, and pegs were only for the smallest of toys...

Now let's see what it looked like back in 2002-2003!
Oh, the memories...

I need to go back in time with about a thousand bucks or so.

Sadly, it'll take you more than a thousand dollars to obtain enough bills that were still in legal circulation back then to have that thousand dollars, though I do know a place where you can get 'em.

What the... HEY!

I never got to see shelves like that, because I was barely born when Transformers hit. Imagine my surprise when I first visited a US store.

I've seen those two pictures before, that's someone's home not an actual store. The photos were taken with an iPhone 5, those didn't exist back in the 80s.
