(Debunked) RUMOR - Minicon Buckshot Individual Release

Over the past two years we've seen two of the Minicons from the extremely elusive European exclusive 8-pack of Minicons surface as individual releases in the US - Ironclaw in 2012 and Airlift in 2013.

Ebay seller lena81822, well known for having (possibly) factory leaks and prototype Transformers for sale, has listed several of the Minicon Buckshot, from the European 8-pack, for sale - albeit listed as a "Green version" of Suppressor.

I'm not sure if this is indicative of anything at all, but many of their other Minicon listings are loose versions of previous "Generations" single pack Market Six releases. Looks to me like a US release could be on the way, but I guess we'll see. What do you guys think?

Packaged Sample or GO.

OK, that was harsh. What I mean is, until we get an actual in-package sample of the guy, I'd just consider it a loose Buckshot from the 8-pack.

Only reason this listing is potentially a hint is the seller. They frequently have prototypes, testshots, and upcoming yet-to-be-released stuff sold loose.

If he actually does get a domestic release, it'll probably be one of those dollar store figures.

Either way, so what?

It's still good news for Micron collectors who would like a chance at this guy.

I wish it were at a dollar store, but I haven't seen TFs at those since RotF RPMs hit Dollar Tree. Last couple of these releases only hit discounters like Big Lots or Dollar General, meaning $5+ a piece these days.

Bumping this to officially debunk this rumor I started.

The Buckshot I obtained on eBay, along with an Ironside that I picked up on its own sometime later, are stamped with the product code 01601.

A few days ago, the EU 8-pack that I tracked down arrived, and the product codes on those are also 01601. For individual releases that have happened so far (Iron Claw and Airlift), these have their own codes as opposed to the 01601 codes found on even their 8-pack cousins.

So, in short, the pieces on eBay are, oddly enough, actually just individuals from the 8-pack. QC rejects? Being prepped for a re-release? Who knows, but based on the evidence so far, looks like no individual release of this guy is planned for the time being.
