So... I just noticed that my generations warpath figure has paint chipping off. On its face. I thought it was a red piece, but apparently it's a black or grey piece painted red. The ver tip of his mouthplate and his small forehead shield shape are chipping paint off. Has this ocurred ot anyone else?

No idea if it'S happening to mine, but that is a feature of Hasbro toys since the end of the Cybertron line. Everything going forward with the original Classics line has had bad paint.

I don't think it's happened on mine, but just call it battle damage.

Nothing wrong with mine, but they just slap paint onto bare plastic - anytime that happens, paint chipping can happen pretty easily over time, since there's nothing to protect it.

I have a lot of Classics and Generations figures, and I've never noticed any paint problems. But I also don't examine my figures very closely.

Just want until the paint on Prowl starts to smear off.
Anyway, probably has something to do with the transformation and the action of the cannon sliding back making contact along the way.

I haven't had it happen to my Warpath, but I've had it happen to my Universe (2008) Prowl. His right door/wing has the worse paint apps I think I've ever seen in my life. Sloppy, uneven, and just all-around horrible. I don't know how I've gone almost five years and not want a replacement door/wing. I guess the fact I'm so passive over some things (maybe because I've been brought up with the concept of "be happy with what you get") is probably why.

Remember, the later runs of Prowl have no paint smearing.

Same with my TG-24. The shiny metal type paint just chipped for no reason.
