There are so mamy characters and so many story lines they could follow that there could be many many films. It'll be like Bond with fresh faces every 3 or 4 films.

They can go to Cybertron, alternate versions of worlds. They could use Beast Wars or anything.

OBviously we will see more TF's in the second, especially on the Autobot side since they are outnumbered. Prime will have sent a signal for reinforcements while Lord Starscream will have done the same. Megsy's spark will regenerate itself somehow and he will take on an Earth form- likely a mobile artillery piece t give him a BFG on his arm to satisfy geewunners- and surprise Prime. The reinforcements- a crack Autobot commando team called the Dynobots- will save Prime and stomp the 'cons forcing Megsy to also call for reinforcements- thus escalation occurs. The new 'con arrivals take on construction forms so Megsy can fortify his position on Earth. Megatron designs a gestalt form for these Constructicons, and all hell breaks loose. In the end, Prime battles Megsy to a standstill while half a major US city is leveled in the battle. The US government opens relations with the Autobots, offering energy and supplies in exchange for tech, while some greedy humans scheme to destroy both sides and make a fortune with the captured tech; the movie ends with both Prime and Megsy going offline and having to be rebuilt, thus leading to TF 3.

DId I miss anything?

Never mind Wal-mart has already set the toys to go on clearance in their system 1 week after the film. Reason they aren't selling as promised and they need the room for merchandise that they know will sell(Harry Potter)(Source: My local wal-mart, happened to see him and an associate working in the toy department)...

Just as I thought. And by the way, movie toys are selling better then any of the recent lines. There are 5 Wal-Marts, 3 Kmarts, 2 Targets, and a Toys R Us where I live. Non of the stores can keep the shelves stocked. I have been there when the put the stuff out and I go back a day or two latter and the shelves a bare. Classics, Alts, Cybertron, BM, RID, Armada, Titaniums, and Energon did not sell like this line in my area.

Just keep bringing in "new" characters, and I think we'll be happy for the most part. It's the "reworking" of old characters that causes all the strife.

We need more autobots! hopefully they be more in the econd move

I'd go for that. That's a good storyline.

Ok, so lets just say that they decided to keep the contract with GM. What characters would you honestly expect to see and what would their vehicle forms be?

As much as I would love to see Prowl I just can't see them wanting to have 2 police cars. Granted I haven't seen the movie yet but it sounds like Barricade might have survived. I would really like to see Hound brought in. They could use one of those new 4 door jeeps and I think he would look great with the new designs.

And since there is no longer a sports car they are definately going to need someone to fill that gap. It would be nice to see the twins (sunstreak and sideswipe) brought to the big screen. Maybe in the form of a corvette.

Just a thought.

yay! and you know why? because if this one brings in the big bucks we're gonna get a MUCH bigger budget so things like dinobots and combiners are far more likely (the guys said it themselves, CGIs expensive and two teams of combining characters would actually out number all the TFs in this film. so the odds are this could actually supercede the first one in terms of effects (and thats mad enough as it is) and be an example of a sequel thats actually worth doing !

i guess it all has to do with the market region.....but around here in Texas you cant give the fukking toys away....every store i have been to has been stocked to the top with trans movie toys and these arent restocks they are the first pallets....i guess the Texas market is jaded or something.

Dodge is part of GM isnt it? So thats a possibility, but cliffjumper should be a compact sports car, or a small porsche or something...

But i guess if they have to use GM cars again, this Dodge design would go well with BB's new Camaro design. Just like the G1 characters, they will stay kinda similar looking to each other.

Id like to see Hot Rod make an appearance personally...Ultra magnus would be awesome and add a new truck design to the mix. Id like to see more 'cons as well though.

Dodge is daimlerchrysler, I would like to see hot rod being a lotus esprit. Its a real world car that is kinda close to his g1 design.

Part 2 should take place in the 70's. This way we could have the bots turn into Pintos, Gremlins, large wood paneled station wagons, and vans with tear dropped shaped windows and Conan-esque artwork airbrushed on the sides.

Good news. I hope we'll see a lot more Transformers in it.

I have a couple plot points for TF2.

Intro a man-made Matrix.
Movie told from PoV of an Autobot.
Autobots blamed for some disaster.
Prime dies at the hands of a S7 Bot.
S7 Bot's are subdued Con's.
The Con's awaken and defeat the remaining Bot's.
Earth is conquered.

Bring on TF3.

Is it just me or does it seem like this better get here soon cause TF1 came and went to quick?

I cant seem to ever recall feeling this way about a film before. I've avoided most spoilers save the toys, and it's not even out yet. I've kept an open mind, and still am not letting myself get caught up in opening day hype.

But it just feels like I seen it already, I guess for me it's always been about the toys. Now that I have them and my own story to go with them, I'm just waiting for the next thing besides the animated series.

Hope it's a good story.
