Also even if it was a Transformer, there's already a green decepticon construction vehicle with a hook confirmed for the movie

Or all the scenes set in medieval times are flashback scenes, like we saw happen in all four previous movies with every scene set in the past being a flashback from the present.

Transformers: The Last Knight to be shot using IMAX Alexa 65

Fellow Seibertronians, interesting news for Transformers: The Last Knight has been revealed in the form of an IndieWire.com article. It would seem that Transformers: The Last Knight is being shot using ARRI Alexa 65 6K camera's. The first film to use these specialized camera's was Captain America: Civil War and is being used to film Marvel's Doctor Strange and The Avengers: Infinity War parts 1 and 2. So what do you make of this? It would seem Micheal Bay is poised to take the spectacle of the Transformers movies to new heights with these camera's. Be sure to leave your thoughts in the comments below.

Heh, I saw the thumbnail pic and thought it was a Transformer toy (after having just come from the Legends thread with that crappy Titans Ravage toy). Some modern take on Reflector or something I dunno. :P Anyways I know nothing about that camera but the Transformers series are the only series where I have every movie on Blu Ray cos they look bloody gorgeous (and plus I love analyzing all the HD details of those beautiful robots especially when painting up the figures to be more accurate) so if it makes them films look even better then great.

I wouldn't've considered a tow truck(as we all know is Onslaught btw) as a construction vehicle :???: but....whatever ;)

Transformers: The Last Knight Freya Featurette

Paramount Pictures have uploaded a new video from the set of Transformers: The Last Knight, and this new video shows off the softer side of filming. The video stars Freya, formerly Britian's Loneliest Dog, walking around the set and taking part in some filming along with in-movie master Sir Anthony Hopkins. Some of the staff for Transformers: The Last Knight talk about Freya and how she is doing in the filming, and everyone seems to agree that she is a great addition and loved by the set. You can check out the video below, and let us know what you think in the comments section below.

That's a great outcome for the dog. Nice work.

Now, on to the video.

The WW1 tank appears to be following Hopkins' character, reminiscent of a dog. I'm assuming there will be a gag in there about how the dog is better behaved than the tank character. Oh... did I hear that Kup may be a character in this movie? If so, could this tank be Kup? Grizzled old soldier.... possible memory problems.... riffing on traits from the G1 and IDW universes, perhaps?

Kup as a tank is a fun idea I never thought of before, come to think of it. Probably because he's always some variant of a pickup truck (I mean, it is in his name). But a tank kinda fits his character. The Tankup.

Hey man; I can't stand the movies and at times I can't stand the guy... but when it's dogs, it's dogs. I love dogs. I didn't even watch the video and I love this news post. Dogs.

Ok, I constantly question Michael Bay's directing, but I'm glad to know he has a good heart, the movie will most likely be a trainwreck, but I'm deeply touched by this :')

Aww. I only woke up a lil while ago and that's made my morning all smiley. :)

Is it too much to ask for Hasbro to include a lil Freya figurine with a TLK Transformers figure? :)

... did no-one actually think to say to Bay "you know, maybe there would be a better place to film this particular sequence. Like, any other building in the world". I'm racking my brains here because I'm trying to think if they could actually have chosen a more controversial location. This is just atrocious.

(also there's nazis in the knight-themed movie... okie dokie then)

Seibertronians, multiple news sources from the U.K. are reporting that Transformers: The Last Knight has continued filming in England by turning a home owned by Winston Churchill and his estate into Nazi Headquarters.

Yes, they have turned "Blenheim Palace", the early seventeen hundreds castle which was the birthplace of the WWII hero, into a recreation of Hitler's main HQ, with large Swastika flags and reportedly SS soldiers on the grounds.

This desicion has drawn some controversy from many communities, but what do you think? Do you find this to be in poor taste? Are you offended, or think it is alright? Tell us in the discussion below.

And, more to the point, how do you think Nazis will play into the Last Knight story? Escpecially considering the movie is already featuring the modern day and King Arthur-era time periods.

Check out a before and after compiarison of the castle below.

As long as I get to see Hound punt a Nazi and yell MERICA, then I'm fine with it.

Yeah, I feel the same.

"I want to turn a english castle into a Nazi base...Wait, no, I want to turn one of the biggest heroes of WWII's castle into a Nazi base."

And, in all honesty, I find extreme interest in the World Wars. I think the technological advances were amazing, I just find it interesting. And I love period renacted documentaries about them, so seeing the second picture is kind of cool to me in a way??? Not in a "I'm a Neo-Nazi" kind of way, but in a historical way? With the lights and smoke and such. I think they totally should have gone with a different castle, but seeing it like that is facinating.

Ooh, boy, minefield there.

What is this movie even anymore?!

I'm assuming at this point time travel HAS to be a thing. I know people have been claiming that forever, but I just don't see how Merlin, Nazis, and alien space robots disguised as police cars could otherwise fit together.
