You almost seem to be taking the Bay movies personally, which is just silly.

Again, any fans who walked from the movies, likely just didn't see the movies anymore, after all the Prime Wars toys debuted the year of AoE and they sold brilliantly, as did Titan's Return which was still going strong when TLK hit. So any who 'walked' from the films, definitely never walked from the toys. The basic fact here, is that the films were a boon for the franchise.

Its okay not to like the movies, I mean I disliked the opening of Bumblebee and wish that bit was left out, am I alone in that opinion? Probably but I'm fine with the fact that it has its fans and was financially successful.

You cannot force someone to see if that one purposely wear a tight blindfold.
In his hatred, he ignore everything down to even third party companies making Movies toys that sell like hotcakes.

I bet back in 1994/1995, he was/would have been one of these TRUKK NO MUNKEY type. >:oP

Is it just me, or do those look remarkably similar to the Bay Dinobots? (in terms of being transforming dinosaur fossils)

They're from 1998-2000. Bandai's short-lived attempt to compete with Beast Wars.

Gattai Saurer/Fossilsaurus only saw release in Japan and Europe, after GoBots died in the U.S.

He just speaks like someone who is out of touch and just doesn't really grasp what he's talking about.

As an example comparing Cobra Commander to the KKK is just stupid one way or another because the two aren't even that visually similar.

Another bit is this gem: "One of the hard things about that movie is that some of the fans really didn’t feel satisfied because there wasn’t enough, wham, smashing and crashing, et cetera. Where’s all the action?"

It's the type of thinking that let him make grand mistakes like mashing scripts together for The Last Knight or potentially what they are going with Rise of the Beasts and overstuffing it because Bumblebee was a "small movie" or whatever.

I've just read too many dumb articles/interviews with Lorenzo in them, several of which where he will straight up lie about something like how he said The Last Knight would go into depth about Optimus and Megatron's history.

Or just say outlandish things like this whole thing about Quintessa in regards to where the post credits scene would lead to:

"You never know, that's part of what the discovery is gonna be. But actually, if you look at the mythology, the mythology of The Quintessa is that she very well and was probably human. So when you go back in time and go through that 6 billion years of mythology, there's certainly a current of thought within it that says she was a human character and perhaps was actually the first one who built the Transformers. So ironically, if that's accurate, then humans built Transformers."

Where did any of this come from? Quintessa isn't a character in the lore, she had no appearances before The Last Knight, this supposed origin doesn't even link up to any Quintesson origin..

I get the Cobra commander thing as he was specifically talking about the hooded version which does look like something the lunatics of the kkk would wear. The other stuff, eh? None of that really matters. Or to be more precise, why bother getting worked up about it? He can say what he wants but its mainly up to writers and directors.

Don't forget that in current year, thanks to a 4chan prank the "Okay" hand sign or "circle game" hand sign is now a symbol of "white supremacy". EVEN IF THE MEDIA ARE FULLY AWARE THIS IS A PRANK.
The Twitter mob also look for dragons to slay and if they encounter a windmill, they'll go berserk like Donn Quichotte.

So you can forgive him for walking on eggshells.

Cobra Commander is a villain.
Shocking I know.

Should I throw my deck of villain cards who take cues from real life villainy?
Because last time I checked, a villain must look like a villain. And a villain must inspire fear and pose a threat.

Anyway, my point is that it's normal and even essential that a villain must look like something evil that really exist-ed
But in this here Clown World, it's now a problem.

I dont see why there'd be a problem with having cobra commander look like this, looks way cooler anyways

Though that's what I grew up with so maybe I'm biased

Yeah, he at least has a second iconic look that media can use for him. The helmet w/ silver face mask is just as, if not more, fearsome as the blue/black hood.

Anyone else annoyed that the interviewer thinks that combining jurassic park and fast & furious would be a good idea? Lol

I guess kids would absolutely love it, to be fair
