Thanks, updated. :)

It's been stated in interview stuff that that she is just in hiding.

The message sounds like a live conversation to me anyways.

Sweet sweet con Action.

Nitro my fave makes it to the final battle at least.

Megatron is in the middle, Nitro on his right, Infernocons on his left and what looks like two Decepticon protoforms on his far right (our left) but their in motion so it's hard to tell but they don't have the infernocon horns.

Since it's a day that ends with a "y", we are posting a new Transformers: The Last Knight TV spot. This one was found by fellow Seibertronian Deadput who had this to say about it:

Enjoy this spot with new Con footgage!

Some screen shot investigations (I think I might do this for the next few spots it puts my "eye" for detail to use)

Image

Purple is Megatron with a running Infernocon behind him, Yellow is Nitro Zeus who I'm calling best con in the movie, blue are Infernocons, red are the (maybe) Decepticon Protoforms and thier carrying one of the "standard" Decepticon firearms from DOTM or at least something of similar shape.

Image
Yellow is Hot Rod, red is Bumblebee and what appears to either be Hound or "Bulldog" hitching a ride.

It's always bugged me that almost all of Prime's AOE/TLK figures give him an orange sword. The sword did actually glow orange in one of the trailers for AOE, but it was removed for the film. However, check out this shot at the end of the trailer:
TLK Prime.jpg

It could be another case where it's just like this for the trailer, but that sword is glowing orange!

WW2 Bee looking awesome.

Image

For those who miss it there is at least one other knight behind the guy attacking the humans also to note the one doing the attacking has a similar if not the same helmet as the guy Optimus Prime stabs so it might or might not be the same guy and Prime is in fact saving them from harm.
Image

The one circled in red might be Megatron or some other villian, blue is just a ship
Image

Red and Blue show that there seems to be two figures combining into Dragonstorm just like the Leader toy.

ENJOY YOUR NIGHTMARES!

Some of those Japanese subs aren't quite translated faithfully.

Like, when Cade says "This isn't you, Prime", the subs instead say "Oputimasu dōshite?" which means "Optimus why?"

And the line where Cade calls Izzy "Little J-Lo" is translated into phrase that basically means "You're still a brat."

You can read Japanese? That's a cool and useful skill to have!.

The J-lo thing was probably changed due to the reference being more of a western thing.

Financial Website Forbes recently ran an interesting article analyzing the current state of Paramount Pictures, and how the 2016/2017 fiscal year really relies on the performance of the upcoming Transformers: The Last Knight, the next installment of their tent-pole franchise.

The article details the less than desirable Box office numbers of Paramount-produced films over the last year, such as the most recent Star Trek movie, as well as pictures like Whiskey Tango Foxtrot and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, all of which (including most of the rest of the Paramount-branded movies last year through now) have hurt the studio financially.

Forbes Contributor Scott Mendelson notes that the prospect of another $1 Billion-dollar smash summer blocksbuster is promising to the studio, and would help make ends meet until additional successful movies hit at the end of the summer into the fall, and while it remains to be seen if the film will be better or worse than the previous chapters, you can see how The Last Knight's Box office success is quite imperative to Paramount's future.

Please head over and read Scott's full article at Forbes.com,
as it gives an interesting context to the upcoming release of TLK.

As much of a fan I am of the movies I don't want them to suffer more due to Paramount going desperate I would rather Hasbro pass the movie license to another company.

If Paramount goes down it goes down I'm only seeing the movies I want to see and Transformers so happens to be a paramount film I watch the movies for the franchise not the movie company.

star trek has never made star wars money. never has. never will. get those massive budgets down. what are they thinking? tmnt 2 should have stuck with a august release date like the first one. if it aint broke dont fix it.

i have noticed for a few years now that the paramount box office has been brutal. soon at this point smaller studios will or already are doing better than paramount.

i expect a big opening weekend but worldwide is where the money will be at. also the following week will be the release of despicable me 3. this movie has a real battle on its hands.

good luck paramount.

That's it. I'm not watching any more trailers or TV spots for this movie. It's going to kill me, but I have to save something for the actual movie.

I want to as well but it's my (self proclaimed) duty to chronicle any new spots.

But I am staying away from early reviews and rumors this time besides a couple of specific questions if they are not answered in trailers.

Reading through that list of movies, all I could think was what did they expect? GisT was the only one I even wanted to marginally see. And the list of upcoming, not good either. It's like they're not even trying. And it's not like TF5 is going to be a great movie, it's just going to be like the other 4: explosions, fast moving cameras, and T&A.

I'd almost appreciate it if paramount closed its doors because it would give a new studio a crack at redesigning everything with decent character development.

A little. I took two semester courses of it. What I didn't recognize I used Google Translate to help, while recognizing any issues GT had in their translation.

Though, I can pretty much read Katakana, so the "Optimus why?" line was easy since his name was written in Katakana and I already knew what the Hiragana-written "dōshite" meant.

This is what happens when you don't listen to the people that matters when it comes to movies... especially remade ones and that's the fans.
Especially a brand like transformers. The closer they would have stayed to G1, the more successful it could have been. Pretty girls, fast cars and explosions go so far.

The movies aren't made for the fans, they're made to make money.

They did that successfully.

Doesn't that apply to pretty much any product, Transformers-related or not?
