BFGs, Bots, Explosions, Eye Candy, Death, Mayhem, Dino Chomping = ...

That is the best looking Transformers movie we have had yet. Too bad it looks as if poor Ratchet IS going to die  . Unfortunately Bumblebee will probably not but it would be awesome if he did. The trailer did pretty much prove that Bumblebee will not talk once again boo!! That whole scene with Peltz and her boytoy on the wires looks really really stupid though. I love that Galvatron is man made. If Unicron sent a bunch of drones and Lockdown (that hook is badass!!!) to make way for total annihilation I would be fine with that. Unicron has got to come into the story at some point.

Right?
*crickets churping*
Right Bay?
*sound of Michael Bay making it rain while explosions erupt in the background* :michaelbay:

So, is this Ratchet dying, or some other bot? Would be cool to echo the history of Ratchet/Lockdown. Would be cooler if Ratchet somehow survived.

Still, by the designs and story, this movie seems to be finding a better balance of invention and homage than the others!

It looks to be so, yes.

Robert Foxworth is credited as returning to voice Ratchet, so it could be for his final moments at hand of the human soldiers.

As far as Rodimus or Magnus being involved, Optimus could be considered a war criminal for leaving Cybertron to its fate. Anyone could have a hit out on Optimus. This also could be the coming of Unicron (kind of a sad version like Galactus in that Fantastic Four movie).

It appears that Optimus is being blasted in his new form (does he die? is this after the big City fight after they think they are safe?).

Some descriptions make it appear as if Galvatron is truly man made but perhaps "becomes the Decepticon Galvatron". Does it gain sentience? You know that have to have a plot thread where humans messing with advanced technology backfires. After all, the frame looks slightly Megatronish and that guy is TIRED of being dominated.

Well, so far it looks like they are on the right track to finally making a TF film that inspires/stirs the same degree of jaw-dropping wonder and amazement as the 1986 animated film did in my youth. This is only a small snippet they're offering us though. I'm immune to their media tricks and traps so if they think I'll be won over entirely by the flashiness and explosions and b.s. that mesmerizes countless millions of other easily amused movie-goers, they are going to be quite surprised. There had better be some substance to this film, something more cohesive than what the last 3 films have had. Bay said he wanted to do this one differently and we keep hearing that it's going to be darker and more serious than the previous ones but so far all I'm seeing is DotM all over again but with Dinobots. The actors themselves have been talking this film up quite a bit but that's only logical since it appeals to their ego to have box office records broken by a film that they star in.

This is indeed a cool trailer in and of itself and the graphics are astounding but I'm still not convinced that this film should even have been made. I still maintain that they should have stopped at three. I honestly don't think they have the chops to avoid the cinematic curse that befalls most franchises that go beyond that number and they should have just respectfully walked away from further attempts and given more time between films. >:oP

WHAM! Wheel to the face.

Combined with Grimlock's kill, this movie looks like it'd have a lot of wonderful subtle little things going on at one time so that you'll find something new every time you rewatch it.

I'm the only one who fins Galvatrons Head looks very Megatron's like? I seems that they created Galvatrons from Decepticon Leader's remains.

So I've watch this thing 5 or 6 times....Where's Drift? I did not see him at all. Does that mean his part is so small he gets killed off as well? Or more likely does he sacrifice himself? :-?

Hara Kiri.

Sorry, that was wrong of me. Although I think Drift's design is more offensive.

Knowing Ratchet he'll probably try and talk some sense into the soldiers before they blow him away.

pretty trailer but im sure the movie will fall short just like the rest pf them. But did bumblebee say something in that one part? Sounded like either a word or a grunt, is he finally getting a voice at some point?

I'd love to see the return of Constructicon drones to the movie universe. The green construction vehicles are a nice nod to them at least.

That's how all the TF movies have been for me. Every time I watch them, I find something new. Whether it be a plot point I missed, or something visual.

Great trailer! I’m still not too sure about our heroes riding Dinobots around- you have to wonder whose idea that was, Prime's or Grimlock's. Must have been an awkward conversation. But Grimlock looks fantastic in battle.

I am more and more of the opinion that the Dinobots will not actually transform into humanoid robots. There is precedent in the Movie universe: Scorponok in the 07 Movie and Soundwave in ROTF, off the top of my head. This could be a reason why the Grimlock toys look so different from each other in robot mode. Just a thought.

Lockdown needs more versions- I understand we are getting a Deluxe, but Voyager would be awesome. They should absolutely bring back the Human Alliance line, which would make more sense now than ever. How about HA Stinger, Lockdown (he probably doesn’t have a human “partner” in the movie but I want a large-scale Lockdown dammit), Galvatron, Bee, and OP. Make them part of a new Premium line or some-such. Just make them.

The one shooting at Bee and Strafe is Stinger yes

but those red bots that are dead are those Chevy Traxes (or Vehicons if you would like to call them) and they come in different colors and are the ones fighting Prime and Grimlock in that last scene.

the new trailers great.

but then again they ALWAYS look great. its the fecking full film bay has problems with.

that said im fair pumped for this one and it helps theres still very little on the plot side being revealed.

for some mad reason all the talk of CNA (or whatever theyre going to call it in film) harks back to the ol G2 Comic so i reckon we could be seeing more of the origins of the TF race in this one with prehaps jhiaxus himself being the big bad behind lockdowns mision.

certainly all those ships would tie into a cyberforming effort and it'd explain the whole "extinction of humanity" prime going on about (not to mention his need to find a new army)

its probably all bollocks on my part but its still nice to think were this could be going.

Hasbro announced right before Toy Fair that all of the Dinobots would be transforming in the movie.

I think they're just yellow vehicles, but the heavy blue filter makes them look greenish :BANG_HEAD:

Also, if you watch the scene where Bumblebee jumps out of the building, you can see a small four legged creature leap onto his leg... Could this be the fabled "Wolf" we've been hearing of?
