Why go see it, then? I will never understand this mindset, at all. I just don't get it. Infuriating, really.
Why infuriating? Why do you waste your time and emotions on people who look at Bayverse this way? Don't get me wrong, I also scratch my head at statements like that, but I don't get mad. It's their problem, not yours.
Well, Evil_the_Nub hit the nail right on the head. Can't say it better than that, really. I will add, for me personally, it doesn't consume me as your post would have some believe. I'm tired of being frustrated.

It's infuriating because people like that have been whining about the movies for 7 years already. They know they're going to hate the movies, but they insist on seeing them just so they'll have something to bitch about.

And it gets incredibly tiresome. There is literally no point in going to see something that brings a person so much displeasure. It's like going to an Otolaryngologist and asking them to deafen you. It makes no sense, it would be torture, why go and do it?

OK, so is it the need to defend the movies, or is it that you don't have any tolerance for f**ktards? Either is OK with me, I was just wondering. I am able to just get past this stuff, where you guys decide to get into it with them. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, I just want to know why you feel the need to do so. You're only making your own lives harder. The f**ktards don't care, they'll complain anyway.
I feel no need to defend them. I enjoy them, it's as simple as that. I'm definitely in the camp of the intolerants, oh yes. However, they are not f**ktards, and please don't label them as such. It's offensive and they'll have every right to report it.
That said, that part of his post has been addressed, people. Please don't send us reports on it, thank you.
Back on topic, I'm intolerant of their constant whining. Not the people themselves, merely their opinion delivery. They don't like the movies? That's absolutely fine. That's their right. It's also my right to not have to hear them continue on with this constant crusade against the films while watching them and helping their box office tallies climb and climb.
It's absolutely nonsensical. I've never understood why they put themselves back through this again and again for seven years. It's just tiring.
