ok, so, the thing that i find terribly interesting about the Allspark is that it turns mechanical and electrical things into life. we see it done to several things in the movie...

so, what I'm curious about...... is it possible that, for the movie continuity, Cybertron originally housed a long-gone civilization when the Allspark arrived, giving life to all the technology that outlived its creators?

I don't know. Possibly. I'll tell you one thing, though: It better not be us humans who were somehow the ones that created the Allspark all along. That would be a stupid twist.

I don't even see how that would be possible in any way shape or form :???:

In the early 90's there was a script for a life action transformers movie that almost got greenlit. In this script, the big "pay off" was the twist that Cybertron was actually a planet from the future that was thrown millions of years into our past and that Cybertron was actually the Earth of several million years from now.

We all blew a sigh of relieve when that project didn't get greenlit. Eventhough the reason given was that studio's didn't want to go into another Cartoon to live action after Mario Bros. and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III failed to make any profit at the box office.
