In the 4 movies so far, whose death has made the biggest impression on you? Whether it be shocking, unexpected, spectacular, or just vicious, whose death made you react the most intensely, regardless of the emotion? :michaelbay: :michaelbay:

Megatron's in DOTM was simply badass. And Lucas, in AOE. Just because I was glad to finally see a gruesome human death on screen. I also liked the way Lockdown died, and how all his parts are still moving and bouncing and making facial expressions. Also, how he just threw up on Cade when he got stabbed. I thought that touch was awesome.

I felt bad for wheeljack. Ironhides was out of nowhere. Probably jazz, ratchet, and Optimus in ROTF

Ironhide. He was a good character, and it came out of no where, and he didn't die in battle as he should have, he was betrayed by who he thought was a fellow Autobot but was nothing but a two faced coward.

Ironhide. It packed a huge emotional punch to it being shot in the back by Sentinel, who finally showed his true colors.

Well technically Megatron didn't die in DOTM, so this dosen't count (plus it was just awful).

Stratosphere from DOTM: The Game, mostly because this is how Giants should goes down.

My favorite is Soundwave. Because Bumblebee turned the situation around so fast, and it was such a brutally awesome death.

Ironhide and Ratchet. I was sad when Ironhide got it in the back and just angry when they killed Ratchet. In fact, the way Ratchet's death was drawn out made it even worse.

My favourite is Optimus' in ROTF, that whole scene is amazing.

Ratchet. Defiant to the end, and absolutely brutal to watch.

Epic = Optimus in RotF.

Heart wrenching - Ratchet's murder was hard to watch. Even more so than Ironhide's. Man, both those sucked.

Yeah I thought Ratchet's was worse than Ironhide's as well. Ironhide's was sudden, but with Ratchet, you knew it was coming.

I had to make a conscious effort to maintain my composure, actually. That scene was done very well.

Same here. I endured it 3 times in theaters, but when I got the DVD, I just skipped the scene. Image

Let's not forget Grindor. Hooks tore his face apart, man.

Hooks.

It's 1 thing to be taken out by a superior enemy face-to-face (face-to-hooks, whatever), but being hunted and murdered by inferior beings whom Ratchet protected is quite different. It just seems more...cruel.

Besides, Grindor is an a**hole. A huge, useless a**hole. I have heard that Megatron didn't even like him and sent him into the forest knowing Prime would tear him apart. >:oP

I'm not saying that Ironhide and Ratchet didn't make me sad (WHY GOD WHY), but a**hole or not- Hooks.

Grindor had the most hardcore death. Though in my mind, that's Blackout. Gives him a much better death and seals up a plot hole. It's not the most emotional death, but it's the most hardcore.

I disagree about Grindor being the most hardcore death. What Bumblebee did to Ravage was way more graphic and "hardcore".

Oh, I forgot about Ravage's death. I guess the only way that could have been any more brutal was if Bee started using Ravage's spine to whip Bonecrusher.

Ratchet's was the most heart breaking.Lockdown's was the awesomest, because I really hated him for what he did to Ratchet and his disregard for his own kind.

The most epic death in the Bay movies: Megatron in the first movie.

Rampage's death. It struck a fine balance between flash and practicality. The knee-to-the-face that ends it all is just icing on the brutally short but spectacular cake.
