O.k. heres my question or though as it were. People want Galvatron in the next movie. Now here is where or why I dont see "galvatron" in the movie. In the 86' movie he is reformatted and unicron names him galvatron. Now if the sequal has nothing to do with unicron and somehow Megatron does come back via the allspark or something, why would he change his own name to galvatron. He would still be Megatron in body and mind. He wouldn't change his name for the hell of it.

P.s. Maybe he'd change his middle name. :P

Good point. Unless they bring in Unicron for the sequel of course ;-)

yeah, it wouldnt make sense unless the cube or unicron regenerates him into a different form.

Or they could take a page from IDW and Simon Furman's book and make Galvatron a seperate character from Megatron.

Easy, Michael Bay can put him in cause he's Michael Bay. Duh!

In all seriousness, you said yourself, Rob, that this is not G1 but a new TRANSFORMERS continuum. So it really doesn't matter where he comes from.

But one thing must be made clear. In no way is he bigger or stronger than Megatron. That has already been established. And maybe this time Prime will have a shot a kickin' his butt as opposed to the other way around.
