Did we really need to see subtitles with the decepts language and then the english translation? How about just the english translation? What was the point of this? Did it annoy anyone else? I dont think it added anything and actually found it distracting...

well the decepticon language is just noise..it doesnt actually sound like words, so doing that allowed the audience to realize that is how they speak, rather than just some background noises

I agree. The Decepticons should not have a language.

Wait, was that what we're talking about.........?

The Decepticons DIDNT have their own language, they were speaking Cybertronian. You didn't expect giant Robots from another planet to all speak English did you?

I liked it. I like it in Star Wars and I like it here. It adds to the realism.

I dont have a huge problem with the decepts having their own language, in fact it makes sense. The problem I have is with the subtitles - I found them very distracting. I dont see why the TF film-makers couldnt have handled it how the filmakers handled it in Star Wars when a character was speaking a different language - in SW I dont remember seeing the subtitles in the character's respective language first and then the english subtitles - I just remember the english subtitles.

I liked it, you hardly see what the TF's language actualy looks like, it kinda added to it for me.

It was a little distracting. I found myself reading it instead of watching the scenes, though I didn't really care in the end, because, well, I'll watch the movie 50 million more times on DVD so I don't really care. It was cool to see some language though.

If you look at the computer in Beast War, you will see that the text is not written in any known language, so thats not new...

I for one like it, although by the time the text "transformed" you had only a very short amount of time to read it. I personally had no problems, but I took some of my cousins to see it, and I had to tell them what had been said.

I'm sure someone will eventually translate it and TF will have it's own language like Star Trek has Klingon.
