Honestly, The Decepticons were handing all the Autobots their buttox... except for Bumble Bee beating the crap out of Barricade and Prime's axing Bonecrusher, there was no contest.

If it weren't from the military's coordinated attacks... there won't be any help for the Autobots...

You know what I think would have been cool? If some humans had been allied with the Decepticons. It would have added a whole level of depth to the dynamic between humans and robots, but as we all know... [5 paragraph Michael Bay rant which I can't type cuz I'm short on time] ... and that's why things turned out the way they did.

I was thinking more along the lines of the Decepticons joining up with some dude named Bichael May who somehow ends up getting shipped to Cybertron by accident and is never heard from again.

First off the Autobots DID NOT get there ass handed to them. And second, Bumblebee not only took out Barricade but he took out Devastator, With two injured legs. Decepticons fear Bumblebee!

Bumblebee and Prime were the only ones that were effective, and here's why:

1) BB and Prime are the main heroes, they're supposed to win.

2) The Decepticons were reformatted into war machines. Since the Autobots did not want to risk any TF lives, they probably didn't want to mess around with their bodies much. But the Decepticons are ruthless and are willing to risk the lives of their allies to win the war, so they upgraded themselves. That and they're all insane and don't have to worry about fighting other TF's AND protecting humans at the same time.

IMO It seems that Bumblebee getting injured before the fight, starscreams attacks, and Megatrons power were all elements to make the movie more dramatic.

the barricade and the bonecrusher fights were good, but they were the only decepticons with no powerful weapons

Bumblebee is a PIMP,he finished off Brawl, and even ratchet did pretty good...

i was very much disappointed that the autobots got their asses handed to them so quickly. A good action scene should have some back and forth. What really surprises me is how ironhide is supposed to be the teams WEAPON specialist yet his tech spec only has him with a firepower of six, and he and ratchet got ownt by starscream which just makes me mad.

the prime megatron fight would have been ten times better if there was some more back and forth between megatron and prime instead of megatron throwing prime around like a rag doll.

Yeah, Megatron Was kicking ass on te movie. But he kept on running for Witwicky. If he just focused on Prime, the he would have gotten the cube and destroyed earth. Because he kept running for Witwicky, he jot destroyed by the all spark. He needs better tactics.

They should have stolen an idea from the '86 film and had Prime show up late and take out all of the Decepticons before facing off with Megs.

You know what else? That, hell this whole movie, could have been used to open the door for a G.I. Joe franchise what with the military and all.
