Since when transformers had good story's, rid, armada, energon, it's same as super hero movies enemy of Heros want to conquer universe or earth and good guys win

Try actually reading the comics and you'll know you couldn't be farther from the truth. Also, reading more might help you improve your grammar.

If you read the IDW comics, you'd know that there are no good guys vs. bad guys anymore. The war is over, and the characters are more complex. Starscream is the (elected!) leader of Cybertron... and miserable, possibly going crazy (but is a depressed way, not crazy with power). Megatron has renounced violence, and is trying to atone for his sins... while being put in situations that require him to use violence for good. Optimus Prime has tried to conquer Earth, which sounds bad, but he's doing it "for their own good," so not exactly being evil. Soundwave is trying to build a commune for Decepticons out in space, away from Cybertron. Skullcruncher has become a stand up comic... the list goes on and on and on...

I'm guessing Bay burns these to keep warm at night.

Big green tow truck Decepticon's name revealed.

And so the tradition of assigning G1 names to green construction vehicles that don't really fit continues. RiD 2001 Grimlock would be proud.

Or, maybe this is just taking a really weird spin on the Combaticons...

Transformers: The Last Knight Onslaught Revealed With Footage

Fellow Seibertronians, thanks to several users, we now know just who the green tow truck will be in Transformers: The Last Knight - Onslaught! Yep, seen here on Micheal Bay's Facebook page, the leader of the Combaticons is getting a bit of a make-over as a heavy duty tow truck. We also get a short video via Instagram that shows the newly named Onslaught driving down a road along with Barricade and the rusty van Decepticon.

Nothing can prepare you for Onslaught.

Doesn't the vehicle have to have some sort of combat ability for it to be a Combaticon?

It's most likely Onslaught in name only

Sure you don't mean Menasor or Abominus or something? You got this one right the first time?

As am I, this figure (I hope) is going to be awesome, especially based on such a beefy truck as this one

He's a shuttle armed with combat able cannons.

Or the combat part can be his pure cambat ability and has almost nothing to do with his vehicle mode?

He has a tow truck hook so I assume that will be a weapon of his in robot form and with Onslaught revealed I will not be surprised if the Rusted VW van is Swindle and even Vortex and Blastoff are Cgi air vehicles like Starscream was sometimes.

Brawl is already dead so I wonder if they might tie it in somehow with Onslaught being around for revenge or something.

You can attach a gun to a family van doesn't make it suited for combat

I just hope the next movie's figures step up a bit in complexity again, Hasbro took the complaints of over-complication too far and erred on the side of simplicity that time around. The figures I got out of it were just boring and/or shellformers. Hopefully they can find a happy medium this time around.

The 1986 G1 combiner subgroup names were all derived from their vehicle modes:

Stunticons: Reckless-driven cars and trucks
Aerialbots: Aircraft
Combaticons: Military combat vehicles (plus a cannon-armed space shuttle)
Protectobots: Emergency response vehicles

The news article wasn't calling this TLK Onslaught a Combaticon. It was saying that the guy who was the Combaticon leader in G1 is having his name applied to this new TLK character. Don't take it so literally.

probably not. As we have seen, there are many duplicate Transformers. Also Barricade died in DotM , yet somehow :???: he is back...

Yeah, again; no-one really stays dead. If they wanna bring someone back, they'll bring someone back. I'm fully expecting Soundwave and Starscream to be in this movie somehow...

We never saw Barricade getting killed that's the thing we were left to assume he did die but he was still moving around alive when we last saw him and yes I did watch that scene carefully.

And for those talking about rezzing guys back from the dead that has only happened 4 times in the movies and 3 of them happened in one film and the 4'th was pretty much just cloning/transferring his still active mind to another shell.

Only Sam, Optimus and Megatron has been brought back from death everyone else is and probably will stay dead.

"that has only happened four times"
"only"

Honestly mate, if they wanna bring back a character, they will. Death won't stop them, especially in a movie where it's just a big blockbuster they'd want big names like Soundwave to advertise and draw people in. Enjoy the movies' plot if you want; but you've gotta realise that it's really not made to be brilliant with lasting impact. Death has not, is not and never will be an issue for this type of movie.
