Truth be told, I've just resided to wait till the movie tells us what that thing is before speculating.

That shot with the sword missing Mark looks like Prime with his head down. Mark looks confident as if he’s seen a familiar face and doesn’t have a defensive stance. Shouldn’t be Megatron or any other villain. That of course, assuming that Prime hasn’t converted yet.

Considering the next movie revolves around him, and I seriously doubt it will be a flashback, not to mention how much the kids love him ... why are you even asking such a question?

I think Bumblebee could totally die; only to be resurrected in the next 10 minutes like ROTF Optimus. Doesn't seem out of the question as long as it isn't permanent.

I don't think it was a serious question, but more of a jab at all those people on places like Facebook who jumped at the trailer saying things like "OMG, Optimus killed Bumblebee!!!"

Looking at the stills, with all the movies' faults (which I do enjoy them, just they're far from perfect), no one can argue that there's no beautiful shots. The photographers and camera people do an awesome job and I think they ought to receive more attention for their contribution.

The Decepticons getting caught in those Baysplosions makes me worry that a lot of them will be killed off easily and early in the movie, I hope this scene isn't near the beginning and the new Decepticons get a decent amount of screen time, but I know I shouldn't expect it at this point.

The Stadium in Transformers: The Last Knight Trailer: Pontiac Silverdome

While we're still letting the flavour of the teaser trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight settle, and opinions are being formed, we have another sidelook at a corollary piece of news from the footage shown. First of all, here's the trailer again, in High Definition:

You see that stadium, that destroyed, mangled, contorted piece of metal and field and concrete? Let me show you closer, with a screencap from our gallery (which you can find here):

As the local Detroit and Michigan press have also noticed, and are buzzing about, that is none other than old NFL Detroit Lions football stadium, the Pontiac Silverdome! Opened in 1975, home to the Lions until 2001 and host for a number of events, from WrestleMania to FIFA cups, to SuperBowls to NBA matches; it closed down, permanently, in 2014, and is still waiting to find new tenants. Must be nice for the stadium and the area to feature in the latest Paramount production, if anything, even if ravaged by Cybertronian battles - check it out in its former glory and current state below!

Are you saying this second trilogy started with Age of Extinction or is starting with The Last Knight?

Sabrblade, where did you get that Lennox and Cade are on opposing sides? Is it from something official or conjecture?

I really enjoyed AoE and generally can't stand the vasty majority of IDW stuff so it's nice there's different forms of TF entertainment to keep us all happy eh?

Oh for sure. I know that this franchise has been around for so long now that G1 ain't the big thing everyone grew up with. People have now grown up with Beast Wars or RiD (original), the Unicron trilogy and indeed, the movies. Hell, I might not feel the movies but they get fresh blood into the fandom. Never a bad thing.

Honestly the Bay TF films are decent enough action flicks, as for being decent enough TF flicks I can only hope they improve. That said, I liked the trailer and am excited for the film. I can only hope Megatron does not disappoint. Also, random musings and speculation: Was that...Unicron? It looks like Unicron. Optimus with purple eyes? Wonder if that has something to do with Unicron and Dark Energon getting thrown in the mix here. Also, please make Megatron kick some butt again.
