Previous news reports mentioned something about Cade and Lennox initially being on opposite sides in the movie.

My understanding of this movie is that it is a sequel, essentially, to AoE. THreads that started in that movie continue in this one. That's unique in this series. Pretty much all three of the early trilogy are stand alone films.

Soooo...Unicron's in it! I wonder how much it took to convince Bay to finally put him in the movie? also looked like either a Unicron created Prime(Nemesis Prime) or the genuine article being controlled by Uni himself! looks like this version of Unicron will prob be destroyed by the Omega Lock(Stonehenge) rather than the matrix! big questions are...who's doing the voice of Unicron & will it sound like him? also will he have a robot mode? & what will the toy be like? & what class size?

OK, I was just confused by which movie you were referring to as the penultimate film. If the trilogy starts with Age of Extinction then the penultimate film is The Last Knight.

So after some careful inspection of the teaser trailer, I've found the following:
In the scene where they show Cade running to save Izabella from the explosions, the Transformers caught in the explosions are Megatron, Onslaught, a Transformer who looks like a movieverse Whirl, and a Transformer who looks like one of the dreads from DotM but with chrome instead of black.
When they show Optimus and Bumblebee fighting, it is found that there is red on Optimus' face where there should not be any. That could mean that it could be related to what has caused him to become evil or it could just be blood ...
There aren't any other easter eggs or other details that I found in the trailer, so now it's just time to wait for the next trailer.

We don't know that it is Unicron or not. Others think it could be Cybertron after it was partially ruined in Dark of the Moon, or that it could be the home domain of the Creators.

And, well, some of us have made jokes about it being Gobotron.

If there was ever a live action Gobots movie, I'd want whoever voiced CW Megatron to voic Cy-Kill. And..Oh I'm gonna get beat up for this but...oh thus is gonna be bad...I think Cy-Kill might be a better leader than Megatron! There, I said it! And now the pain follows...

Clancy Brown has always been my pick for a new Cy-Kill. Bernard Erhard's original Cy-Kill always struck me as sounding like a sillier version of DCAU Lex Luthor.

Oh, I loved Brown's portrayal of Mr. Freeze in The Batman. Actually, in that he sounds like Cy-Kill whispering. Just replace it with a synthesizer (or whatever they u to do that mechanical sound) and you'd have Cy-Kill.

To me penultimate is the terminal movie, so the NEXT one would be the penultimate of this second trilogy.

Alright, before Tarn and friends come for me let me explain. In talking about G1 Megatron, let me explain first G1 fans! Megatron and Cy-Kill are both 80's kids show villains, meaning that every plan is going to fail no matter what. Except in the first five (only ones I've seen so far) episodes of Challenge of the Gobots, Cy-Kill conquers Earth. In the next episode after that, it shows Turbo and Scooter, that latter mentions they've been in the run from the Renegades for weeks. WEEKS! Megatron only got about two days in the Ultimate Doom. So how can Cy-Kill conquer a planet full of humans that has somehow evaded Megatron's rule every single time? Just think about that. And on a lol note, I happen to be wearing a Dalek shirt while typing this, so seeing a "Do not blaspheme" pic made me laugh.

Okay, first of all, all of your replies to the trailer was more entertaining than the trailer. Second of all, the big problem with this Transformers trailer is the same problem with all of the Transformers movies. Not enough actual Transformers and way too much of humans I really don't care anything about

So far... This looks interesing, Megatron's new looks works for me, and there is a lot of question about why Optimus is attacking BBB.

Of course, all of Bayverse Movies trailers were promosing, but I think this can be at least a decent summer blockbuster movie.

"Rethink your heroes."

Ugh.

Is it too much to ask for heroes that are actually heroic these days? Now even Optimus Prime isn't immune from getting Snydered.

I don't disagree, but he's kinda been like that since at least ROTF. Now the movies themselves are finally recognizing it... and apparently running with it. *sigh*

New Poster for Transformers: The Last Knight - Rethink Your Heroes

Directly from Paramount pictures, we have a new poster for the upcoming fifth instalment in the live-action movie series for the Transformers. As we've seen in the teaser trailer, Optimus Prime seems to have taken a turn for the worse in The Last Knight, out in June 2017 - the new poster seems to tease the same, as it asks us to rethink our heroes... check it out, and join the discussion in the Energon Pub!
