But we all know who Burns is...

In the latest Bumblebee movie news (which admittedly isn't a lot, since the principal filming is close to finishing) we have a couple of posts from the Twitter account of SteinfeldNews, which keeps up with news regarding the human star of the movie, as well as an Instagram post from Hailee Steinfeld herself! Fellow cast member Jason Drucker also posted on Instagram; a picture of the actor sporting a rather appropriate piece of headgear. Check them out below!

Please let this, along with the classic vw beetle that's been seen, be an indicator of a redesign and reboot. Please please... You can have them styled like their g1 forms and still look awesome. Pleaaaaase... :STARSEEKERS:

I don't quite know what the unpunctuated mess of a rant above is trying to explain, but I hope the movies manage to incorporate a few more Generation One design cues. I've never been offended by the messy "trash robot" look, but giving Bumblebee some horns or placing some lights on his feet would not be bad at all.

Bumblebee has some form of horns actually. They're small and subtle.

While a few throwbacks in hte design would be nice,I dont think they have to all the way and give us a robot with the G1 proportions.

According to online news source for the entertainment industry Deadline, we have another cast member joining Hailee Steinfeld, John Cena, Jorge Lendeborg Jr and more - with a dip back into the 1980s and the classic G1 Bumblebee Volkswagen design for at least this one prequel movie. Actor John Ortiz, recently seen in Kong: Skull Island, has been cast in a yet unknown role! Find out more about the news below, and let us know what your thoughts are on this movie so far.

EXCLUSIVE: Actor John Ortiz has landed two roles. He’ll first join Hailee Steinfeld and John Cena in Paramount’s Bumblebee, the first spinoff of the Transformers franchise. The pic, which will bow in theaters Dec. 21, 2018, has Travis Knight directing from a script by Christina Hodson.

It’s set in 1987, where Bumblebee, who is refuged in a junkyard, is discovered and revived by Charlie (Steinfeld) who, on the cusp of turning 18, is trying to find her place in the world. Lorenzo Di Bonaventura, Michael Bay, and Steven Spielberg are producing with Hasbro’s Brian Goldner and Stephen Davis.

New Revelations from 2018 Bumblebee Movie Wrap Up Party: Name, Logo and Bumblebee's New Look

PostPosted: Sat Nov 11, 2017 9:02 pm
by william-james88
Hailee Steinfeld, the lead actress in the upcoming 2018 Bumblebee live action film, has posted new images on her instagram account regarding the wrap up said film. Firstly, a wrap up party means that the shoot is over. Of course, it is now time for all that editing and addition of our very favourite CG characters into the movie.

Speaking of which, this wrap up party gives us our very first look at Bumblebee's face in the film which shows differences from the other iterations we have seen. It was shown in the title card which shows the logo and also finally announces the actual name of the film, Bumblebee: The Movie. As said, the face on the title card is similar to what we would expect from a Bumblebee face but the head crest is significantly different from before, with a shape mimicking the front of a Volkswagen Beetle, the alt mode Bumblebee will have in the film.

The logo was then reposted on twitter through various users. You can check out the title card below, enjoy!

Really like what they did with his head, little homage to the volkswagon beetle design is really nice a works great with him.

Part of me feels that Bumblebee the Movie is not the final title though.

Yeah. Pass. I'm pretty much over the Bayformers universe. I felt like someone owed me an apology after the last movie, I just wasn't sure who. I have no doubt this one will be just as nonsensical. >:oP

It's still the Bayformers universe, so there really no reason to expect anything more than a new flavor of explosion porn.
Second verse, same as the first.

A fantastically-directed movie.
