Transformers: Robots of destruction

Some interesting facts and figures about the first four live action films have been posted by iCarhireinsurance.com. They have taken an assessment of all of the cars destroyed, buildings demolished and other items damaged. It is also interesting to read the charts that explain which characters and factions get the most kills. What might be most thought provoking about this article is the graph that shows a correlation between punches and kills vs. the Rotten Tomatoes score for each film. Perhaps you would like to discuss your thoughts about this on the message boards.

Still nothing compared to the damage Unicron did in the opening scene of TFTM. No one can match that, cept maybe Galactus!

Actually wrong since the correct name is Dino and that's that.

They dropped the whole Mirage thing heck even Que is still called Wheeljack in the credits where Dino is not called anything else.

That's just damage to human stuff though. What about the damage done to Cybertron when the pillars were disabled in Dark of the Moon? Since Bumblebee is the one that finally destroyed the control pillar, wouldn't that count for, I dunno, an eighth of a planet or something?

I think dragons was speaking about this graph graph from the article:

(Though they probably could have put it a little more politely)

Or maybe he meant to post in TLK thread?.... :???:

Anyway I know critics are tearing the film apart, that's not surprising, this has always bee the case since RotF. I'm not the biggest fan of the Bay films (heck I don't even collect the toys of those lines because I dislike the look so much), but I give each film a chance. I do think you have to be a fan of the lore though to have a basic understanding. Critics Focus on the human characters since they cant tell one robot from the other. For me its the exact opposite. don't go to these films for the humans. I couldn't care less honestly. One of many things that made TF:TM so great in 1986 was minimal human presence. Rise of the Predacons was a great TF film, that had Zero human involvement. Sure I know they have to try to appeal to the masses, but when you get critics that aren't invested in the lore behind the stories, then they bash the heck out of them, it makes their opinion void IMHO. I've seen a couple of fan reviews online that are actually pretty positive towards the film, which I was a bit taken back at. Still not building any expectations up before I go see it, so I might be mildly surprised.
