Hasbro issued a press package for the upcoming Brand Licensing Europe 2017, taking place in London October 10th hs year. You cn find the scans below. The most interesting part is where the enior Licensing Director, Katherine Buckland, speaks of the having three Transformers films in a span fo three years:

Earlier this year we released Transformers: The Last Knight and we announced a Bumblebee Movie due out in theaters December 2018. And in June 2019, we will unveil an entirely new, exciting storyline for Transformers. That’s three movies in three years, as well as our television programming, gaming and growing consumer product portfolio. It’s a fantastic time to be involved in Transformers

The June 2019 date reffers to the next installment in the live action movie franchise and it is the first time Hasbro has given any detail regarding it. Do you fans see anything to make of this statemnt of an entirely new storyline for the next film? Let us know what you hope this means on the boards!

Here are the scans below, found on TFW2005's website.

Of course. Throw any and all continuity out the window. No dangling plot threads from the last movie at all! :BANG_HEAD:

I'm going to take this with the same grain of salt that applied to AoE being a reboot and the previous four movies all being Michael Bay's last. Most likely in my opinion, unnamed-2019-movie will carry on from TLK in much the same way TLK itself carried on from AoE. Guilty until proven innocent, eh :P

99% percent of fans wanted reboot they may get it with this movie transformers and superhero movies are all same bad bots make plan try rule earth and universe good bots show up stop there plan never changes just with differnt characters fans don't like this movie they have no one to blame for them self who have crying after revenge of fallen they wanted reboot.,

Now for superhero movies villain somehow villain is created by hero or that villain life is effected by hero to make that person to go bad fight hero shows up stops villain look at Spider-Man series reboots , batman, superman, it is all same as transformers except on is with giant alien robots who never had contact with humans until they crash land on earth somehow before they made contact with first human transformers have human faces

If this is true I don't want it to be knew they would do this having bay have stopped doing transformers movies all together batman returns catwoman still lives new director batman forever and batman and robin catwoman never gets mentioned and shown of again in sequels

In other words, it will be a whole new story unrelated to the previous one

I still think will be the same world established.
Maybe what they mean is,we gonna change focus of the story,in a sense they wont do Unicron yet,or continue the "Knights" story line. They have a new villain, new cast, that decision makes sense if they get a new director.

Maybe a bigger example would be the upcoming Thor Ragnarok film, where is seems it has little to do with loose plot threads from Thor The Dark World.

yeah that sounds like theyre just abandoning the last film to me.

TBH whist i liked it better than AOE a complete reboot suits me.

only problem is i dont think they have clue one about how to do one properly. or more to the point WHO to do it.

Well, I for one am not excited. The Last Knight killed all the excitement I had for the Transformers live action movies. They are going to have to prove themselves after this X-Men Origins Wolverine disaster.

I don't care what they type, or how excited they are for the new movies coming out.
They don't have any idea what storytelling is, what characters are, what movie making is.
They just throw in random things, 70% have nothing to do with Transformers, and call it a day.

Let Transformers die for about 5 years or 7 even. Then start completely from scratch with not a single person who was involved in the previous movies. Reboot it with Optimus, Bumblebee, Megatron and Starscream. And completely forget the old 5.
