Reason for prime's slow transformations?

i was just wondering why pretty much all the other transformers (are able to) transform quite quicky, while it seems that it takes prime a lot longer to transform. what are your thoughts on this?

Adds to the drama. Prime has always been the center point of the TF universe. So slowwing down his transformation makes it more memorable.

i wanted to see a full body transformation, like full screen. robot to truck. nice big wide angle. I want to see those legs and arms fold baby!

yee me too. i wanted to atleat see someone do that, i dont care who. all the transformations were so fast and they were sometimes too close to see the whole thing happen at once.

closest to a full body transformation was when blackout transformed for the first time. My jaw practically dropped to the floor when i saw that. Would have been awesome to see more transformations like that. Ironhide's came close though..

yee, blackout's transformation made me all excited. and well..we saw frenzy's good i think, but i dont care about him, and he's a puny guy so nothing too exciting with him compared to the others.

Blackout transforming in Quatar was awesome. Starscream first transformation was probably the one whit the best camera. You don't see much but you DO see the entire body.
It also seem to me that Decepticon transform faster.

i say another good one was when Jazz is running then slides and transforms.. It was a pretty sweet angle

Another one i can think of is when Bumble is driving under the bridge, jumps, transforms, and catches shia and megan

They did that simply because they wanted the audience to go "OMGPRIMEISTRANSFORMINLOL." It creates more of a buildup for the final battle.

Reminds me of Kupp speeding, transforms, and jumping on Blitzwing to divert his cannon.
