Hasbro released their first quarter numbers for 2020 today and there was a lot of talk about the entertainment side of things since they now own eOne. Almost as a sidenote, they mention how many film projects eOne has at the moment and that over a third of them are of Hasbro properties. That means there are 21 Hasbro films in the pipeline at the moment at various stages of production. We know some are Transformers film, like the animated film we just got more news of today, but we don't know how many.

We will share the passage that explains that more below, for those interested, and you can read their entire earnings report, which is mostly about Play-Doh, here.

Television and film development and writing teams remain very active and not materially impacted by COVID-19 issues during the quarter. However, ongoing production lockdowns and theatrical closures are now in place and likely to negatively impact revenues over the short term. The development slate is strong, currently with approximately 100 active development projects in television (15 from the Hasbro portfolio) and over 60 projects in the film pipeline (21 from the Hasbro portfolio).

Oh wait, they are not all live-action?Ok,that's more feasible.

Why the Power Rangers aren't in that Hasbro's properties pic?

Challenger Brands...

Is Kre-O making a comeback with a brand new logo? With new products not seen since 2016?

Because it's an old pic I used. Just wanted to show an example of properties under Hasbro at the moment.

And to the other question, yeah they still own KRE-O but it doesnt mean they'll do anything with it. They own "my pet monster" too.

You say that, but Battleship made money. As did Rampage and you wouldn't really have expected anything from either of those.

I'd love if they brought back D&D though. As a continuation of the cartoon in some way. Since Requiem was never actually made, it can just be ignored as non-canon.

I'm pretty sure there was news of d&d on the works.

There's always been something about D&D going around, a bit like Magic the gathering. Last I heard about that, they were trying to sell it as a TV series :-?

As much of a joke as this is... I'd be completely okay with it. I love Jeremy Irons  There's no better Scar then him.
