I saw the movie and am just now starting to get into transformers. I've watched 40 beast wars shows in the past two days. Does the movie follow the plot of the original story? Was anyone dissapointed with the film? Thanks

I'd say that the movie and its characters are loosely based on the original series. There are some things from the series that was not in the film and vice versa. Being a huge fan of the original series, I for one enjoyed the movie a lot.

I for one hated any and all beast wars stuff and yes the movie didn't follow the story spot on but i dont know how exciting it would be if they made it too much like a show that came out in the 1980's
