In the UK we even had a law called "the Sus Law" https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sus_law that was one of the main causes for the Brixton Race Riots. Basically, if a police officer thought you looked sus, you could be stopped, searched and even arrested. Needless to say, it was repealed in the 1980s (although oddly politicians seem super keen on bringing it back).
The more you know!

Be that as it may, "sus" has only been part of pop culture lingo for the past few years.

I was glad to hear Stratosphere was appearing in the film until they gave him the stupid moustache.

Is it just me or is the pop culture lingo just getting lazy? I mean, in the 80's we had entire expressions, phrases, and even entire WORDS dedicated to our pop culture (see Frank Zappa's "Valley Girl"). But this? This is just lazy and kind of sad. RIP English slang

Have you ever seen a Transformers tie in single go this hard with the promotion? The new single On My Soul is out now, by TOBE NWIGWE, NAS & JACOB BANKS. The music video is below and it is directed by Tobe Nwigwe as well. They go all out with the Transformers tie in with this video with Nas on top of Optimus Prime, Tobe on Arcee and more. Plus there are some Transformers themed lyrics including Michael BayBay.
We also have a featurette for the soundtrack of the film featuring friend to the site, Jongnik Bontemps, who talks about composing a new score for the Maximals. Check it all out below.

Peter Cullen talks of the Integrity and Courage Found in the New Film and Sends us his Love

Anyone who has met Peter Cullen knows he loves his fans and is very happy to have contributed to all our lives as Optimus Prime. He takes the opportunity once again to send us his love in the new featurette for Rise of the Beasts which Paramount uploaded to Youtube today, which focuses entirely on him. This is quite novel since in the past, he wasn't as involved with the marketing campaign, and it speaks to the fact that the people working on the Transformers movies now are people who grew up with the brand and understand Peter's contribution. In this short clip, Peter states that this film is similar to the G1 cartoon, for him, since it hits all the same notes, like integrity, dignity and courage.
Also, fun fact, the Brooklyn scenes of Rise of the Beasts were filmed in Montreal, which doubled as that borough, and Montreal just happens to be Peter Cullen's home town (as well as mine).
Russian Fans will be able to watch Rise of the Beasts in Russian Despite Sanctions

Western films are included in the sanctions related to Russia at the moment, so Transformers Rise of the Beasts could never have a legitimate release there. However, through a bypass release (aka smuggling), the film will be released in Russia with Russian dubbing. It is not sure if it will be shown in all cities and since this is a bypass release, any revenue it will generate will not be counted towards the global box office for this film. It is due out there June 15th.

Those "sanctions" are stupid and pointless because they serves no true purpose. One more proof that Russia will keep enjoying the things and the sanctions will only make so that the creators of the things will not receive a dime.
Oh the irony.

So... according to Lorenzo di Bonaventura, in ROTB we begin to see how OP grows from a leader with integrity, dignity and courage to a stone cold "Give me your FACE!!" mass murderer? I CAN NOT wait to see the aged "GET OFF MY LAWN!!! Boom! Ratatatat!" OP!
I grew up in Montreal, but now in Toronto. Goes back to Montreal & Quebec City every other year or so though!

Wow, so apparently attempting to dissuade countries from murdering other countries through sanctions is pointless. Hrmmm.... I don't know about that.

funny how USA's money laundering haven (the Ukraine) has never been sanctioned after bombing the east of the country (Donbas) since 2014.

I actually know some people who have fled the situation, and have sought asylum legally. Great, hard working, very peaceful and respectful. That being said. It is challenging for them to find entertainment in the U.S. in their language, understandably so. I feel like I'm being monitored even if I search anything about it.
I know Netflix has a setting in that language and a *few* movies with subs, but most of the other streaming services dont. As for the dub, dont feel bad. I've seen some of their "dubs", some may be professional, but the bootlegs are literally one guy yelling all the dialogue for all the characters over the original language audio track that you can still clearly hear. It's no way to watch a film.

Nothing can justify Russia's brutal invasion of Ukraine and daily attacks on civilians. The United States is by no means perfect, but the whole world can see what's happening in Ukraine and most of us are united in sacrificing to help expel the invaders. I'm sure the mods are on their way.

As a Ukrainian by blood, I know a lot of russian. I can confirm that the smuggled russian dub of ROTB is 1:1 EXACTLY the english dub. Very low effort, hilarious how exact the translation is.
Props to the voice actors for sounding exactly like their english counterparts, especially Airazor. I think they are using some kind of voice filter on her because I hate her voice as much as in the english dub.

You are aware the Ukraine started the war in 2014 by bombing Russians in the east of Ukraine(Donbass) after the CIA backed the colour revolution. I wouldn't believe western propaganda that favour of zelenskys puppet money laundering regime.
the world are being force fed Russia bad/Ukraine good, when it isn't hard to find out the Eastern forces in Ukraine are genuine descendants of WW2 Nazis (Azov) that they do not hide this, yet you're willing to back them because you've been told russia bad.
to coin a phase 'there is more than than meets eye' especially regarding this conflict.

Early reports are coming in from fans who have seen it already that this movie is dumb, but not the same kind of immature, gross-out, embarrassed-by-the-source-material kind of dumb of the Bay movies. More like a fun kind of dumb. The right kind of dumb.
These fan reports also agree that Bumblebee was still the better movie in regards to being a movie.

I heard a couple people say this is like a Saturday morning cartoon.
I'm fine with that.
