Actually a Jurassic World x Fast and Furious would do well, i mean the movies are just Action set pieces...why not throw dinosaurs into the mix. Interestingly though, one of the actors said he'd rather have a Transformers crossover:lol:

When the Cone heads look more like kkk than cobra commander...

Sounds like this is gonna be the fifth transformers film with zero dollars from me. I'm looking forward to Joe but I liked the others (even if retaliation has pacing issues), only getting the movie scarlet figure as I'm way too lazy to find a ray parks head (that isn't darth maul) and sculpting comic style hair for snake eyes when I've not got around to using a Rock figure for roadblock yet.

Same here! And that version looks less like an evil leader to me and more like an assassin-type, like crosshairs from bad batch or something

Having seen a lot of GI Joe as a kid, I saw the hooded version often. But the helmet and mirror face-shield is much, much better IMO. And that's an opinion I had since ever. Hooded look too much like... I dunno... Like CC is going to relax at a spa or something.

Speaking of Live Action version of classic franchises, I would really love to see a movie that retain the campiness and often absurd aspects of the original. Like a GI Joe movie where EVERYONE on both sides shoot like Stormtroopers and if a vehicle explode, they always have the time to parachute out for reasons. And we must not forget the center plot point of the movie: The McGuffin Device! (Actually called that like in one episode that no one bothered to clip on Youtube.)

I LOL-ed so frikkin hard at this

I'm willing to bet, and the toy sales clearly show it too, that a significantly higher number of fans came in thanks to movies than left. And if they left, they were gone for a decade already, having gone to sleep around 1992, woke up at movie news, saw it, hated it, and then went back to sleep for hopefully 15 more years. New far outweighed old, and if the continuously running classics/generations line, and WFC sales are an indicator, they are still there too.

Prequels were awesome, and after the sequels came out, they were appreciated a hell of a lot more, especially with Clone Wars. Those were good.

Your generation gave us hair bands, mullets, and Quiet Riot. No bueno.

The irony of the intelligence comment too, when you were literally, very quickly, and decisively proven wrong.

Movies sell. Movies have their fans. I am excited for this one, and I am excited for this one as i have been for the previous 6. I have enjoyed them all to some extent, and Dark of the Moon remains the best TF movie, period.

And Scourge remains the most anticipated thing from what we know about this movie already right now.

Good grief, you're just showing your ignorance! Big hair bands date back to the 70s, and mullets date back to the 1st century AD... so which generation am I from?

As far as fans, how the **** am I wrong? The movies drove away large numbers of fans.. open your eyes, and you'd be able to see that

Sorry if ppl have differing viewpoints, we can't all wear blinders

Prequels were "awesome", Empire was the "worst"... LMMFAO!!!

Maybe if I can open my 3rd eye that can see unicorns and dragons, I can see them, those "large" number of fans.
Oh, here they are, riding the back of the Lock Ness Monster!

Face it, buddy. That "large" number is either only in your imagination, or for every one of them that left, 100 new fans came in, making your "large number" completely irrelevant.

Not going to rehash this.. I presented the box office takes per movie, showing an extreme DROP in earnings between TF1 and TLK. For a laugh, I offered to take toy sales into account, but all I got was something that looked like kindergarten marketing material (INCOMPLETE too!! 2004-2012.. could have SWORN there were more movies after that  ), instead of the metrics that were requested. So, "buddy", how about getting some **** REAL data, before spoutiing out your ass that you know better, Bayverse was the BEST, and all fans that have been fans for close to 40 years can go suck it

SERIOUSLY?!?!

Wow.
You are seriously taking that very personally. At an absurd and worrisome level. You are closed like a oyster and refuse to see anything beyond your shell. It's pointless to argue anything with you.

What are you even doing here, in a BAYVERSE movie thread if you hate Bayverse this much? Do you take pleasure in hating something so much that you have to jump in a discussion just to vomit bile all over?

I hate seafood but I would not go into a seafood restaurant to spit into people's plates. Or as an atheist going in a church just to shout in people's face. Doing these things would make no sense and only a sociopath would do that.

And here you are.

Umm.. afaik TF7 ISN'T Bayverse, so how is this a "BAYVERSE movie thread"? The reason I am here, is BECAUSE I care about the franchise, and have done for ~40 years, so I'm adding my 2 cents (which is what I thought this forum is for?).. I'm sorry my view doesn't fit yours, but get over it "buddy"

Actually...as far as Paramount care, this is set in the live action movie time line as presented by all the other films. There was a point made at the presentation, but it was along the lines of: 'the setting and character's were chosen to avoid conflict with the later set movies' hence no Megatron as he's on ice still.

Also it feels like we're beating a dead horse at the moment but all you've proven is that less people saw the later films, which doesn't prove that the fans disengaged from the franchise as a whole.

If you really want to see how successful the Last Knight Toyline did, I'll dig through the news archives as our own William posted an article about 3 years ago on it, as for the quality of the graph, go take it up with Hasbro, as they were the ones who made it.

>:oP

Not sure if I really like that offroad Bumblebee, it looks like bit too raised up from the wheels, that kind of custom on a car never looks good to me. If there are scenes I the movie where he's required to go off road fair enough, but I think I would've preferred if he stayed as a standard Camaro.

I don't know much about South America, so I might be wrong, but I can't see anyone driving that for him to scan. And in any case, have they not rammed camaros down our throats enough already? He scanned a jeep before, so he must know there's something better out there . . .

He's a camaro because that's what he was in the 07 film...

Now as to how he got the form, what I'd love is for him to modify himself, like how you used to get attack mode toys where the vehicle mode transformed a bit. No need to scan anything if tfs could do something like that.

Is pushing Bumblebee on us really still necessary at this point? They've only been doing it for the past 14 years straight. 14 years of Bumblebee hogging the spotlight. :-x

How many characters are in the Transformers franchise? How many characters that never ever get used?

Bumblebee is only popular because he gets a ton of screen time. More screen time = more familiar = more popular. Any character can be as popular as Bumblebee. Hasbro just won't give any others a chance.

I won't go see the movies anymore. They lost me at The Last Knight. And the more they keep pushing Bumblebee, the more turned off I am.

I'm a TRANSFORMERS fan. Not a BUMBLEBEE fan. Transformers is a franchise about large armies, not just 1 character. It's not very difficult, but Hasbro just can't learn that.

There is no reason to keep pushing Bumblebee because all Transformers toys sell. They have released my favorite Autobot, Wheeljack, in Earthrise, Netflix & Kingdom. So where is my WHEELJACK movie?
