There's bound to be three or four movies, so do you guys think there will be bots and cons that are going to switch sides. Or will there be a Sideways style character. He was always one of my favorites.

Not to dis on the movie, because I enjoyed it, but considering how the characters we had were poorly handled, I sincerely doubt that the moviemakers will put the necessary time and characterization into a defector. And sweet Primus, I hope there isn't a Sideways character in any of the sequels, because you know that sort of thing will be rushed to fit into the two hour timeslot and bungled even more badly than Venom in Spider-man 3.

Yeah, I doubt we'll see anything that nuanced or complex to come out of the TFs in the film series.

That really is a shame thought it has such potential. You know even if they revamp Jetfire's history and make him a decepticon first. I'm not Bay bashing, but god, theres some great storytelling to be told. Maybe someone else could make it work. But this Bay's baby and no one else is gonna get a shot I guess.
