Stephen King says Bay's Transformers Film is the Only Movie he Walked out of

Stephen King wrote on Twitter that the only film he walked out of in his adult life was Bay's first Transformers film. He said this as a reply to Linwood Barclay who said he walked out of Jurassic World Dominion, and then asked everyone who say his tweet which film they walked out on.

Here is what he wrote:

"I have walked out of only one movie as an adult: TRANSFORMERS. Would like to know what other movies people have walked out on."

He later precised he was referring to: "Michael Bay. The first one."

Reply in the comments with the film you walked out of, if any.

Well that's one way to promote the upcoming Fathom Events 15th anniversary screening  .

Also, this is odd, if you look up the listing on a cell phone, it shows Transformers as being rated "R", but on a regular computer, it is clearly PG-13 (I know it was never rated R, but one of my friends who has zero knowledge of Transformers just pointed it out to me the other day which I thought was odd...)

Lastly, while I've never actually walked out of a film, there were 2 that happened in a very short period of time that I wish I had. I Know What you did Last Summer & Scream. While I was never really a horror kid, I did watch with my peers most of the most well known franchises in the 80's and early 90;s (Halloween, F13, Elm Street etc...). But these 2 films just were so awful in how cheesy they were. Unfortunately I was "wingman" for a couple of friends with their dates, and felt obligated to stay. If I knew then what I know now, I would have walked out, and walked all the way home, no regrets.

I know both these films have become classics among some horror fans, but as for me, it was the death knell in my feigning interest in horror, and I've not watched anything in that genre since.

I mean to each their own. I very nearly walked out of Ang Lee's "Hulk" and I should have followed the people who walked out of "Gabriel".

You can write those news stories as articles in their respective threads and we'll news them.
