Is the movie Prime kind of a cross between Optimus and Rodimus? there's the flames on Optimus, the frustration he had in the searching for the glasses bit seemed like it'd fit Rodimus..

I guess not.

It's more of the vehicle than the flames.

I kinda liked that part since it made them more 'human' in a way. Besides, they were in a hurry and aren't they allowed a bit of frustration?(Ironhide is a trigger happy nut he does not count)

I would be more comfortable with a script that portrays Ironhide, or Jazz expressing the frustration, and Prime telling them to be patient instead.

It is so unlike Prime to be "panicky".

It was a bit strange seeing him get so frustrated, but time really was of the essence.

Even Autobot leaders should be allowed to express negative emotions every now and then. Has everyone forgotten how valiantly he fought in the second half of the movie?

Getting thrown here and there by Megatron doesn't look very valiant to me.

He didn't do anything valiant, like taking a bullet meant for another Autobot, or blocking a shot to save some humans.

He was just plainly a punching bag for Megs to vent his anger.

He "valiantly" got tossed around like a piece of tinfoil, collateral damage EVERYWHERE.

I was half expecting him to scream, "Time out! Time out!"

And then, adding to the end-of-movie confusion, the voice from the G1 cartoon Prime then began a speech about watching 2 kids bang atop a fellow Cybertronian.

Haha.

Alternate title for this movie, "Collateral Damage".

R-18.
