EHen Prime says, You have given me no choice my brother, it's like when you live on the same countrym you call your fellow african brother bec you were distinct to each other, same heritage & same roots.
Indeed. Cybertronion, Transformer brother... not an ACTUAL brother.... Thats tarded. Besides, use your brains man. How can a metalic robot have a brother, when he has no mother? or father? >_> Dont be stupid now people.
Just like you guys are my human brothers/sisters.
Simply put.
Um... maybe they're created from the same Spark?? Constructed somehow with the same purpose or a dualistic purpose of Fairness/Justice (as seen in the prequel comic)?? Who knows? Why such certainty on your part?
No one said Prime/Megs had a mother or father, or are even biological for that matter. Let some discussion to go around.
Do you actually believe this? I mean maybe im too much of a "fan of the old". Ive not seen it in any series or whatever when they have been called brothers.
But i guess i should accept it... seeing as its a new story. Bah i dunno, i think the idea is pretty silly. I mean if they were made from the same spark, "the heart" then why would then end up so different?
Dont forget, its not a Brain per sé its a life force.
I'm open to suggestions. I don't think it's TRUE, but I don't think alternative views are retarded, nor do I think other people speculating on canon possibilities are being stupid.
The relationship between Megatron and Prime in this universe seems to be slightly different to simply 'leader of Decepticons' and 'leader of autobots', as it usually has been before the movie. Given that the two seem to serve more of a dualistic function than ever (that is, until Megatron betrayed Prime), they might have been created by someone/something to rule Cybertron. All I'm saying is that no speculation is retarded, especially with so few resources, a lot of things are possible.
Why would they end up so different? Something went wrong with Megatron, although he did a good job of hiding it until he attacked, according to the prequel comic. Optimus Prime definitely designates perhaps the Supreme Commander rank on Cybertron, whereas Megatron was known as Lord High Protector. Hm... from 'Emperor of Destruction' to ex-Lord High Protector in this canon? Megs is definetly different in some way to past Megatrons. Although that might not mean anything, it might mean little more than a different take on the history of Cybertron.
Again, this is mainly speculation pieced together via the movie, the prequel comic, and the movie comic. In the comic it seems that instead of Prime simply yelling 'Megatron!!!' and Megatron yelling 'Prime!!!' and Megs transforms into the jet and Prime leaps and grabs him, as in the movie, they actually greet each other by 'Hello, brother'. Does this imply anything? Maybe, maybe not.
IF any of this is true, I personally think it's pretty cool. But give the story more time to expand. Heck, this might all be wrong and it ends up being an attempt to return to a story similar to G1. However, with the setup of the prequel comic, and the movie itself (G1 guys crash on Earth by accident millions of years ago, whereas in the movie they arrive in the modern world with a specific purpose of getting the Allspark) I don't think it will be very probable.
