For linguaphiles out there. I posted these on a blog (
http://tflang.blogspot.com).
I've decided to post here as well.
These are authentic and come from a friend who sent them to me as screenshots from a DVD in Iraq. The quality, as you can tell, is not that great.
enjoy,
StandTrooper

Wow, nicely done. I think you could clear them up nicely just by copying them on a piece of paper.

I received a few more screenshots today. I posted them at
http://tflang.blogspot.comThe quality still isn't great. I'm sure those linguafiles out there will have plenty to do once the dvd comes out.

is this just the subtitle translations? or actual translations?
Cuz I was thinking, the people who have Decepticon Graffiti font on their computers could try to make out what they "really" said in the movies.

I just confirmed with my friend that these are the verbatim subtitle translations.

Where would one find that Decepticon Graffiti font? Please tell me so I can map out which letter corresponds with which symbol and then translate.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%2 ... gle+Searchhttp://www.webpagepublicity.com/free-fo ... affiti.ttfhowever, I pulled down the font and I'm not so sure they're the same fonts... there are quite a few different symbols in the screenshots that don't exist in the ttf.
I'm also not so sure that they mean that much as they don't quite correspond between one name to another... check out the "witwicky" subtitles... they're quite different and the same symbols don't match up in either.
I did find this... which is amusing to me
http://www.angelfire.com/wizard2/markryan/updates.htmlespecially this part
" This time I was also doing some more “alien language” material and that was also great fun. The actual method for creating the Decepticon “language” will remain a trade secret but it sounds pretty creepy, even if I say so myself! If they keep it in the film I’m sure folks will drive themselves nuts trying to guess how the language is actually structured."
LOL, couldn't help but chuckle at myself.

And these are safe to download, right? No viruses and junk? I had to get rid of my last computer because it got utterly bugf*cked and I'm not taking any chances.

You're right they SUCK!:D
They are a little clearer... they are also bigger. The shots I have he tried to do them full screen which just pixellated them a little more.
Do you mind if I put them on the forum I have going to keep the consolidation for myself and others?
