This might have been done already, but:
What references did you spot to the old movie/other series?
1. The VW bug that BB attacks at the used car lot
2. The infamous introduction of Jazz - 'Where'd you learn to speak like that?' - similar to the Junkions speaking 'TV' in the 86 Movie
3. 'One shall stand, one shall fall' - 86 Movie reference
4. The dam as a key location - similar to MTME epsiodes..
5. Meg's mace and Primes Axe/sword - as above...
6. Jazz pulling Brawl's cannon off target - Similar to Kup vs. Blitzwing in the 86 Movie
Any others?

I read on a G.I. Joe forum that you can see the logo of MARS, Destro's group, on one of the documents that flashes by in the hacking scenes. Also, one of the Raptors that shows up in the movie has the name "Capt. B. Armbruster" on the side. That's the real name of the Joe character Ace. Colonel Sharpe is also the name of the G.I. Joe's military liason(I believe), but there was also a Col. Sharpe in Armageddon, so it may be more of a Bay in-joke than anything.
If you're stretching things, Spike's expletive outburst when he first sees Barricade might be considered a nod to the original movie. =p
I don't know if it was intentional, but Frenzy's beheading and subsequent crawling away reminded me of Waspinator from Beast Wars.

On the Don Murphy board a several posters noted a Soundwave Figure in Sam's room. I haven't seen the movie since I read that so from my end its unconfirmed.
If anyone is planning to see the movie again soon check it out.

Slight homages (and that word is tossed around like a frisbee...) but no Easter Eggs.

Heres a little one. When prime transforms his truck grill is in his chest during the transformation, something like the original truck grill for a chest G1 prime.

in the dam when the sector 7 guys show a demo of the allspark's energy in that small room, there are claw marks all over the wall and anthony anderson says its wolverine.... i think that might be reference to weapon X (wolverine) being a secret government experiment and sector 7 is some type of S.H.I.E.L.D.

As well as the ones already mentioned and the ones I'm putting down have probably been covered in another thread but the ones I spoted were:
The army character Figeora (sorry bout spelling - it's morning time here in IRL) - Spanish speaking guy from 2 Fast 2 Furious - reference to current Transformers don - Don Figeora.
As well as the VW Bumblebee attacks, there was the placing of the Bumblebee air freshener on Bumblebee's rear view mirror which said BEE - OTCH - cool touch.
The Soundwave figure mentioned is I believe a Titanium Soundwave. When the hot blond makes a copy of the signal and takes it to her super duper hacker friend and just as they go into his bedroom for him to hack it, you see on the far wall four shelves and Soundwave is on the second from top on the far left - it really is a blink and you'll miss it moment. I didn't see any Soundwave in Sam's room though - but in fairness, it was a tip so who knows what was there other than Goldfish and some, um - tasteful(or less) reading material - it's the articles, not the pictures dammn it!

i always though that the moped that mikaela rides, before the scene where barricade is fighting bumblebee... is a representation of the armada mini-con sureshock...
http://www.bwtf.com/tfarmada/toys/revie ... ockvm2.gif also, another guy mentioned that the truck mikaela drives bumblebee away in, looks just like Longarm

That's because it is that truck. Hasbro is making Transformer toys out of a lot of the vehicles in the movie such as the S7 SUV, the military Jeep thing at the end and a few others.

When Sam is running for the building rooftop with the cube, Megatron bursts through the wall and shouts something.
I'm 90% sure he shouts "K'plah!" followed by "I smell you boy". For those that don't know, "K'plah" is probably the most well known word in Klingon. It means success or victory.

Ironhide complaining that the dog 'leaked lubricant' on him could be a reference to his 'leaking lubricant' line from desertion of the dinobots.

I heard that every time and recognised it as a word but couldn't place it. I kept thinking "that's not transformers.... Star Trek?" Lol. Glad I finally place it. Dang, did they put enough Star Trek references in the movie?

Oh, and after having all three of us watching for it this last time, we're pretty much in agreement...
As Starscream leaves the atmosphere, he's in his G1 form. =D

Eh, I dunno. The shape of the wings and engines don't really seem to match the Raptor... ah well. Will have to wait until the DVD comes out to be sure. =p

If I remember correctly, he's leaving at an odd angle, so it may just be perspective that makes him look different.
