Felt like I was in the movie! Crazy thing at the restaurant tonight!

So I'm at a restaurant tonight. Around 7:30pm, sun is low in the sky making it a beautiful red sunset. And then I hear it...

A real low rhytmic bassy sound, like a helicopter. Then the restaurant starts shaking to the sound. I'm thinking, definitely an aircraft, a helipcopter, but it's low. And I start laughing thinking, imagining it was Blackout. So I turn and look out the window...F'N BLACKOUT! Maybe 100 feet above the trees was a CH-53 military copter, just like Blackout from the movie. It was sick and moving pretty slow across the sky right into the setting sun...it looked just like the movie.

For that one moment it felt like TFs were real, hearing a helicopter approaching, and turning to see what looked like Blackout a few hundred feet away, pretty cool!

SWEET!

Oh my god how I would love to have been there for that. It gives me goosebumps just thinking about it.

Its kinda like driving down the road and seeing a pontiac solstice drive past you. I giggle like a child :D

Isn't the 53 just a mean looking machine in person? :D I've been around Sea Stallions for years. Love those things.

Even so, to be able to experience seeing one of those things fly by is cool stuff!

Everytime I drive around, and I spot a cop car or a black Mustang on the road with a body kit, I imagine Barricade. This morning I was being followed by one before it turned left.

I've got you all beat. I get these babies and Blackhawks flying over my house all day and night, every day and night. I could practically throw a football at them. And boy are they POWERFUL. They rattle my entire house. Usually they fly in twos, so I get one after another at a time. Someone here on post has a mustang like in the movie (kinda) but with Bumblebee's paint job! It's neato.

thats really cool, especially since its the blackout heli.... i always make a big deal whenever i see a military heli or plane fly by. i alway stop what im doing and just stare  . its just so much different when you see them fly in person than on tv. its even more amazing is when they fly by when you least expect it, like you're just chillin at the strip mall then BAM!, like a row of 4 chinooks fly by.

That's awesome. If I looked and saw the same chopper that Blackout was, I think I might have wet myself.

I had a similar experience the other day. I work at an airport and just happened to be on the parking ramp when an MH-53 flew over. Kinda of eerie since I was surrounded by aircraft.

And own the way home from work yesterday I saw 2 Pontiac Solstices.

I sometimes see vehicles that remind me of TFs. The other day waiting at the bus stop to go home from shopping, a Peterbilt truck went past. I just smiled. No it was painted blue with flames( I can pretend that it was), it was a black truck.

My husband got to ride in a bunch of these helicopters in Iraq. He's even repelled out of them. They have to do a lot of night training here (I live five minutes from the airfield) so I dream to Blackouts flying overhead. :D

I just moved away from Albuquerque, but Kirtland AFB had MH-53's there so I would see them flying around a lot. They also had Blackhawks. But now all of the MH-53's from Kirtland left about a 2 months ago for the boneyard. Kirtland now has the Osprey's (which BTW were the ones used in the filming of the movie).

Sounds pretty cool GD, wish I oculd have seen it like that.

A lot of times the helicopters have their spotlights on, like they are looking for something. They hover around, and at times I can see a big circle of light on the grass behind my house. What they are doing is beyond me.

That's awesome. I would have screamed out. Holy crap its Blackout! Just to see how many other people in the restaurant would know what I was talking about and who had seen the film.

Same thing for me when I see a dodge ram. OP. When I see a black one then it is Nemesis Prime. Waiting to see either with an Autobot or Decep logo somewhere on it. That will make my day.

We get large big shiny trucks here all the time, the occasional non-military helicopter and more cop cars than you can shake a stick at. As for why there are so many cop cars where I'm at... I live in a college town. You do the math.

My husband has also been around those Buffalos, which he said is what Bonecrusher is. Too bad he's not mechanized infantry, or he'd get to work in these things! Though I've never seen a tank like Brawl. I think they fiddled with him a little. :-$

Did anyone ever wonder why the heck Brawl ran over that car on the side of the road? He had plenty of space beside him. Well, I guess if I were a tank I'd revel in crushing crap, too. Kinda like that guy that went bonkers and stole a tank from an armory.
