Frenzy still alive?

I mean he beheaded himself, but he lost his head before in the movie and survived! (well he dd cut it funny, two of his eyes are still atached to the body)

So do you think he may be still alive?

It would be a shame to not see that crazy crack taking loonatick in TF2!

I was annoyed when he died, but I don't think he'll return. Yes he did survive beheading before, but Sector7 & Lennox's crew weren't there to destroy him. I'm pretty sure someone must have chucked the body in the allspark-power-tester-box-thingy & blasted him with whatever killed Phone-bot.

I really hope he is. While I am not crazy abou his design, I do love the personality they gave him. The interaction between him and the humans works suprisingly well.

before his entire head was still intact. At his death his head some more or less destroyed. I don't see him coming back from that with minor repairs.

Frenzy was awesome.

And for anyone who thinks his behavior was unrealistic, know THIS: I know people who act like that!

Ragnarok is correct. Frenzy didn'y decapitate himself. He split his own head in half lengthwise and then some, destroying the brain case. He's dead.

Yes, brain casing. This goes back to G1. In More than Meets the Eye #8 on page 15 at the bottom is says,
Any damage that affects the neoro circuitry is capable of destroying that Cybertronian permanently; the destruction of the brain casing is uniformly fatal— except in the case of an abberant spark.
Destroy the head, and you destroy the Transformer, permanently.

However this doesn't apply to Waspinator... Nature's chew toy.

It seems to me that in Beast Wars, the characters with insect alt modes could survive dismemberment (like a roach that can live for a while without a head) but were less durable overall. I think Frenzy kinda benefited from a similar principle.

More likely, though, he just had his spark in he head. As opposed to his chest like most other transformers.

Surviving dismemberment is one thing. surviving destruction of your neuro circuits, destruction of the brain casing is another all together.

Yes I know, I was just jesting.

Oh, do come back to the "Scorpie part of Blackout thread". Nugget appears to be digging himself a hole. I would like there to be someone with more technological tongue than I in the discussion so my reasoning may be explained more clearly.

One of his own CD's cut diagonally through his head after rebounding around the whole of the allspark test room.

But it was just partly dameged, after he was beheaded he transformed into a phone!

Meaning that his brain maybe made out of lots of litle chips in seperet casings, (well that's what neoro circuitry is).

So he may just be braindameged which will make him even crazier in TF2!

I'm referring to the final battle, when he was fighting Agent Simmons, the Secrietary of Defense and the hackers, when he hit himself in the head with his own weapon. That destroyed his head.

I know what you meant!
But his head is still made out of little parts, that means his brain must be in seperat cases, in order that he is able to change it into anything he wants it to!
So losing like 10 of maybe 100 pices won't kill him off, it may make him bumber and let him loose memory.

Our brains are made of separate parts as well yet if you damage enough of them you still kill the individual. This is true of Transformers too, any damage to the neuro circuitry can possibly be fata, destroy the brain and it is fatal. Frenzy's brain was destroyed. He lost more than half of it. That is terminal. I don't care how comparmentalized it is. He is dead.

I got the feeling that they were selective about what was able to kill a bot, basically where it was convenient in the script ... like Jazz for example, they didnt show all that happened to him but from looking at his remains, he should have easily survived, just as frenzy did when he lost his head. You figure from the waist down arent any essential 'organs'

OH well, maybe they'll make a clone, I'll still be happy with that.

No, more than likely, they'll replace Frenzy with the original— Soundwave.
