I'm guessing you were trying to correct me as I hadn't written '74... Anyway, here's some quotes from the movie BB wiki page... I know Wikipedia isn't all that accurate, but when it's said this many times in one article it's pretty reliable...

wikipedia wrote:Movie Bumblebee transforms into a yellow 1976 Chevrolet Camaro...

Wikipedia, again wrote: This battle pack contains the 1976 Camaro deluxe-class Bumblebee

yet again, from wikipedia wrote:Legends Bumblebee transforms into a yellow 1976 Camaro.

guess where wrote:Instead of the rather inaccurate missile launchers from the 1976 Camaro toy, 09 Bumblebee

Sigh, again wrote:unchanged Deluxe class 1976 Bumblebee

once again wrote:painted mini-statue of his 1976 Camaro bodyform.

It was a 1975 Chevrolet Camaro. (My uncle has one that looks just like it, only in nicer condition and is red with silver stripes)

You just said it yourself. Wikipedia is unreliable. It's full ten year old fangirls and twelve year old Aspergers-induced nerds who think they know everything when they know next to nothing.

I wasn't trying to correct you.

Sorry.

I was supposed to ask... Could it be 74? (It was just shortened)

I thought i read it somewhere. Could be the toy or something.

:)

Oh ok ^^ sorry.
Actually we're all wrong. My dad's a total American car nut, took one look at the deluxe & told me it was a '77. Then I showed him a picture online & he said '77 again.
He also has a friend who owns one, showed me a picture of that & it looks exactly the same.

You have just majorly offended me as well.

Sorry to disagree but I just got the Chevvy Camero 101 from my Dad. '74's has a smaller window, '75 through '78 had the bigger wrap around back windows.
It's also not a '78 because that's when the design changes. My dad thinks '77 but it could be anywhere between '75 & '77.

A google search for 74 camaro's came up with pics of bumblebee, and loads of other camaros that looked the same as him.

Hmm....seems the three models are all very similar to each other. Searches for 75 and 76 camaros showed me pics of the cars, but no bumblebees, yet the search for 74 versions came up with nothing but pics of bumblebee.

Based only on that i think its the 74, but the 75 and 76 models look closer to the film version but i cant be certain as i am no expert on the subject.

Taken straight from a car enthusiast site... *they're* 76's, and they drove one. I remembered the article from a few months ago, I'm more a car nutt then a transformers nutt, but it overlapped here.

Trust me, '74's don't have Wrap around back windows, which are clearly shown on both figure & movie.

It's useful, quite a lot of it is actually written by people who know what they're talking about, it's easy to use & most of all it's everything in one big thingy... XD
